Title: This is how God's love was manifested

Contents

1 John 4:9-10 This is how the love of God was manifested (1)

There is also the fear that by touching the wrong things, they may commit the sin of conveying the precious love of God too lightly and cheaply. That's why I'm a little reluctant to preach about God's love. And almost all Christians know about God's love. It's not very special. These days, it may be banal content that does not suit the palate of the saints who like special knowledge or new things.

Nevertheless, the dream and wish of all pastors is to better communicate God's love. Because that's the heart of the Bible, and that's the most important thing. That is why we help everyone who hears God's love to know God's love, feel that love, experience that love, and embrace the world with that love. Today I want to help you a little bit as I speak again about the love of God. I want to comfort you. I want to make you happy. In particular, today I would like to talk about how to express love. There are 5 ways to express love.

1. To express in words.

"I love you! I miss you! I can't live without you! A world without you is steamed buns without buns, a dimly lit port, a steamed beer (cola)...etc..." Appropriate love language makes the other person feel make it good makes you happy Especially young people like to express their love because they put their feelings of love in song and tell them to their lover. In our time, these love songs were popular. This is an Elvis Presley song.

Love me tender,

love me sweet,

never let me go.

You have made my life complete,

and I love you so.

Love me tender,

love me true,

all my dreams fulfilled.

For my darlin' I love you,

and I always will....

It's a good word for anyone to hear, regardless of whether they're in the East or the West. "I love you! I love you!" Let's try it together once. "I love you! I love you!" Let's try it for the people next to us. "I love you! I love you!" Is there anyone who is a little shy about saying this? I know it's the best word in the world, but why doesn't it come out easily? Maybe it's a cultural difference. This is not the case these days, but in the past, when a Korean man confessed his love to a woman, he thought it was a bit frivolous, and he thought he had no body.

Moreover, among husbands of my age in Korea, Busan people say this is even more so. I came home and said to my wife, 'I love you!' how good is it? But what do you say? "Give me some food! Let's stay! Let's sleep!" Women who have never received a confession of love from their husbands in this way often fall for love-themed dramas. Winter Sonata, Autumn Fairy Tale, Summer Scent, Spring Waltz...

And I try to feel vicarious satisfaction while listening to a handsome male actor say 'I love you!' in the drama. At this time, husbands must understand the feelings of their wives. And you must repent yourself. "Ah- I can't properly confess my love to my wife, so it's because she misses her!"

However, he couldn't understand this, and he gave his wife ax eyes, raised two wicks, and said, "Turn off the TV! I can't turn it off right now! It's like becoming a butler! Pray!" If so, do you know what happens next? "I'm fine alone, really!" Then he goes to another room and weeps and sighs alone. "Ugh, why am I marrying a person like that..."

But don't misunderstand my sermon. I'm not telling you to watch Korean dramas hard. The point is that we want to express our love in words. God loves us too. And you're not dumb. God is the one who expresses his love in words. “Beloved!” (3 John 1:2) “You are my beloved Son. I am well pleased with you.” (Mark 1:11) “Behold, my chosen servant, with whom my heart is well pleased, my beloved.” (Matthew 12) :18)

Sometimes even among the saints, there are people who read the Song of Songs and misunderstand them. Some unbelievers, especially those who do not know the Bible well, read the Song of Songs and misunderstand that the Bible is full of obscene content. However, this Song of Songs expresses the love between King Solomon and the Shulammite woman, and on the other hand, it sings about the love between the Lord the King and our saints who are his brides.

Therefore, are there people who cannot hear the confession of love from their husbands? Rather than getting surrogate satisfaction from watching a love drama, how about getting surrogate satisfaction from reading the Song of Songs? There, God's precious love for me is expressed so sweetly.

"My beloved is a sachet of myrrh in my bosom, and my beloved is to me a bunch of gobelins in the vineyards of En-gedi. Come. My beloved is like a roe deer, like a young deer, standing behind our walls, looking through the windows and peeking through the spears. My beloved said to me, "My love, my pretty one, get up and let's go together." 1:13-14, 16, Song 2:8-10)

2. It is to express as a gift.

It is a precious gift to show one's love. Mary showed her love for the Lord by pouring precious perfume on the Lord's head. The Lord was delighted with Mary's gift. I gained strength from that love and gained more heart to bear the cross. Jesus was pleased with the gift, not just because the perfume was worth it. It was because Mary's love was contained in that gift. However, Judas Iscariot did not see Mary's love contained in the gift and misunderstood it as waste and luxury.

Of course, expressing your love with a gift requires great care. In our church, we give birthday gifts to elementary school children. However, it is very difficult to choose that gift. So sometimes I ask. "What's good for a birthday present?" "Yeah... Pokemon cards, mermaids, soccer balls, game consoles..." Sometimes it's hard to choose, so they buy gift certificates. I want the little ones to get gifts from the church and say, 'Church is the place that gives me good things! Ah- I got a gift from the church when I was little! My father's house is where he loves me.' I want the memories to be engraved.

Ladies and gentlemen, God not only loved us with words, but also gave us a precious gift and confirmed that his love is like this. What precious gift has God given us? He gave his only begotten Son, Jesus, as a gift. Some people are not very impressed with this statement. It's like a child getting frustrated with a gift he doesn't want.

In a way, I understand. Jesus doesn't seem to have much to do with me. I want a job right now as a gift. I need a visa right now. I need money right now. If you love me, you give me money, a job, a house, a car, a visa. Why give me the Jesus I don't want? Who asked for an only begotten son? Why are you so condescending after you killed your only begotten son on the cross for nothing? Now that I gave my only begotten son, do you feel sorry for it? Are you doing this now that you are thinking about the past? Ha- true!

Everyone, just think about it. God loved me so much that he gave me a precious gift. Is this a gift that has nothing to do with me? Let's take an example. A woman receives a birthday present from her lover. A small birthday cake. It didn't taste very good. The woman sees that she doesn't like the gift. I just left it in the corner of the house for a few days to rot.

But inside the cake was a precious diamond ring with a card that read 'Marry me.' And there was a card. On that card, after 1 (1), ten circles were drawn. One hundred billion. Do you understand? But the woman didn't know that, and a few days later, when she saw the cake, it had mold. I threw it in the trash. Oops, sorry!

A few days ago, for my wife's birthday, I bought a rose from a Safeway florist and gave it to her. The mist was also mixed so it was nice to see. 19 dollars and 99 cents. My wife is very happy. But looking at the roses, he said one, two, three... and counted the number of roses. It is to see if the rose matches the number of her age. Guys, are you right or wrong? It didn't fit at all. My husband is 49 years old and I gave him 18 roses. 31 were missing. So I hadn't even thought of that.

But after that, my family keeps checking the inside of the rose. I'm like, 'Ah- I think I smell the scent of roses!' I thought. But later I found out that wasn't the case. Guys, why did you do that? It was carefully examining what envelope was inside the rose. Then he said, 'Uh, why don't you have 100 dollars!' and looks at me. By carefully examining what was not there, he finally made $100 and ate it.

In other words, it is because people do not pay close attention to the meaning of the precious gift of God, the only begotten Son, Jesus. If you know the meaning of that gift, you and I will try to have Jesus. Because in Jesus everything is contained. God loves us and has given us everything. But all of that is with Jesus and in Jesus.

I experienced this when I was 26. After I was discharged from the army, I fasted and prayed at the prayer center. He also asked for a good job. I also asked for a good sense of color to get married. I asked you to guide me on the path to the future. I saved all of this. Then the voice of God was heard. "I have given them all. I have given them Alpha and Omega. I have also given them gifts."

As you all know, 'alpha' is the first letter of the Greek alphabet. Omega is the last letter. The Bible says that Jesus is the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end (Rev 22:13). In other words, God has given us everything because He gave Him. Therefore, if you ask for anything in the name of Jesus, God will give it to you. Regarding this, the Bible says: “He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him also gift us all things?” (Romans 8:32)

Don't ask why God gives me, you, or us all that. The reason is just this. because i loved you The Bible says about this. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life” (John 3:16). For it is not easy for one to die for a righteous person, but some will dare to die for a good person, but God demonstrates his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 5:6-8)

And today's text says: "In this was manifested in us the love of God, that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Here is love, not that we loved God, but that God loved us for our sins. He sent his Son as a peace offering" (1 John 4:9-10).

Today's conclusion. God loved me, you, and us so so so. I hope that you will hear the voice of that love today. "I love you." And please confirm that love by drawing Jesus on the cross. "I have loved you so and so so."
