Bible: Acts 26:13-18 Title: This is my testimony
Today's message is a vivid testimony of his faith in meeting the resurrected Jesus Christ while explaining that he was not a person to be condemned or violating Roman or Jewish law about the incident of accusation against Paul by his fellow Jews before King Agrippa. I grant you permission to speak for you...Paul raised his hand and made excuses...(1)
1. The sinful past testimony when you do not believe in Jesus
All the Jews knew about the state of life in Jerusalem when they were young (4)
If they tried to testify...I followed the strictest sect of religion and led a Pharisee life..(5) The dead man that God promised to the ancestors and that the twelve tribes earnestly obtain day and night I believe in saving lives (8) Against the name of Jesus of Nazareth...and gained authority from the high priest, imprisoned many saints, voted in vain when they died They were very angry and went to foreign cities and persecuted them. (9-11) 2. Current testimonies of believing in Jesus
1) Received a brighter light than the sun
Noon is the time when the sun shines most strongly. On the way to Damascus to persecute the church, Saul saw a light stronger than the sun and fell on his face.
?Jesus is like a healing ray
For those of you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with a healing beam, and you will go out and leap like calves out of the stall (Malachi 4:2).
?Jesus' face looks like the sun shining powerfully (Revelation 1:16-17)
When I saw him, he fell at his feet and became like the dead; and he laid his right hand on me and said, Fear not, I am the first and the last...
On the Mount of Transfiguration, Jesus' face shone like the sun and his clothes became white as light (Matthew 17:2) Hearing the voice of God in the cloud, he fell on his face and was very afraid. Jesus touched his hand and said, get up and do not be afraid. He looked up and saw no one except Jesus.
When I heard the word from me, who had a strict religious life like a Pharisee, I fell down knowing that the death and resurrection of Jesus was the gospel for the forgiveness of my original sins and my sins.
2) personally listening to the voice of the Lord
Saul, Saul, Moses, Moses, Abraham, Abraham, Samuel, Samuel... This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased... There are many people who do not answer God's calls, but persist in their own way and walk. Many people were walking along the road, but the voice of the Lord was heard only by Saul.
I listen to the Word in the same place, but the Word of God is only heard by me.
3) Who are you, Lord?
I want to know about the person of Jesus. The door of prayer and the mouth of praise begin to open.
4) Stand on all fours
I will send you as a testimony and a witness of what you have seen and what you will reveal. I am ashamed of the footsteps I have walked so far, and I make a U-turn to a converted life.
5) The Witness, the Servant, and the Testimony Saul
Awakening from darkness, turning to God from the power of Satan, remission of sins, and giving us an inheritance among those who are sanctified through faith in Jesus “He said to me again, ‘Go away, for I will send you far away to the Gentiles’” (21).
Prayer: Lord! Let Jesus Christ be my testimony
