Title: Those in Christ Jesus
Contents
Without taking off the flesh, we can never enter the spirit. Putting on the flesh and entering the spirit is like one who enters into a wedding ceremony without robes, and it is like the sacrifice that is offered year after year by entering the untorn veil as the sacrifice of the order of Aaron, which is the shadow of the true thing. As it is written in the Bible, "The law is a shadow of the good things to come and is not the true image, so that by the same sacrifices offered year after year, you cannot at any time perfect those who come to you" (Hebrews 10:1). It's the same thing.
To be in Christ Jesus is to be in the Spirit. Because the Lord is the Spirit. Jesus of Nazareth was a physical man, but Christ Jesus is a spiritual man who took off the flesh.
Therefore, as it is written, "... first he was not spiritual, but physical, and then spiritual" (1 Corinthians 15:46), as it is testified, He came in the likeness of sinful flesh, that is, in the flesh. It is written, "What the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh, to us who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit. that the requirements of the law might be fulfilled” (Romans 8:3-4).
It is also written, “By this you know the Spirit of God, that every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God, and this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which is to come.” You have heard that it is already in the world” (1 John 4:2-3). ... He said to them, "Why do you call me good? There is no one good except one God" (Luke 18:19).
The Bible also testifies about this, “for the dead have been set free from sin” (Romans 6:7). Also, as it is testified, “As for this Son, he was born of the blood of David according to the flesh” (Romans 1:3), so he is the Son of Man, the Son of Man.
But he is not just the Son of Man as evidenced, but Christ Jesus, whom God chose and anointed and sealed. He Himself testifies, "...the Son of Man is the one sealed by God the Father" (John 6:27).
“There came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my son, the chosen one; listen to him” (Luke 9:35) Amen, God! Thank you. Yes. I will listen to him.
Then, now that we are in Christ Jesus, we are in the spiritual spirit (Christ) that has taken off our sinful flesh. The fleshly Jesus of Nazareth was perfected on the third day and is now raised in us as the Spirit, Christ Jesus. It is the same as it is written, “Go and say to the fox, today and tomorrow I will cast out demons and heal people, and on the third day I will be made whole” (Luke 13:32).
Jesus of Nazareth was of the lineage of David, the Son of Man, but Christ Jesus is the same as it is written, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God” (Matthew 16:16).
“There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, for the law of the Spirit of life that is in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death” (Romans 8:1-2). Those who are within are not in the body, but in the spirit. This is because he is the man of Christ Jesus who crucified the flesh along with its passions and lusts.
This is because the old man, the body of sin, was crucified with Jesus of Nazareth and died. Therefore, the body of sin is destroyed, and there is no more slavery to sin. Regarding this, the Bible testifies of the reality of those who are in Christ, saying, “How shall we, who are dead to sin, live any longer in them?” (Romans 6:2).
He also testifies clearly, “We know that our old self was crucified with Jesus so that the body of sin might be put to nothing, and that we would no longer be slaves to sin” (Romans 6:6). “I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20) and testifies more clearly.
Therefore, those who are in Christ Jesus are not in the flesh but in the spirit, and because they have been raised with Christ, they are set free from sin and become slaves to righteousness, bearing good fruit. For we have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness, and since the body of sin has been destroyed, we will no longer be slaves to sin.
The old man who was born of man was crucified with Jesus, and now he cannot and does not sin because he has become the new man born of God, the Son of God by faith in Christ Jesus. It is written, “Everyone who is born of God does not sin, because the seed of God abides in him, and he cannot sin because he is born of God” (1 John 3:9) is the everlasting gospel. Because it is not in the flesh, sin has no dominion over him.
However, even those who are now in Christ Jesus are strangers in debt to the flesh for the rest of the time in the flesh, so we are tempted by the temptation that the flesh never condemns us even if we live according to the flesh, and sometimes we are forced into captivity under the law of sin. But those of Christ Jesus, whose body of sin was crucified with Christ, overcomes sin and death only through faith that died with the Lord.
For those who are in Christ Jesus, who are in the faith in the Son of God, the Bible clearly says, “For everyone who is born of God overcomes the world, and this is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith” (1 John 5:4). you are speaking
Therefore, He testified, “Of sin, because they do not believe in Me” (John 16:9), and also “… everything not of faith is sin” (Romans 14:23 ) confirmed.
Therefore, there is no condemnation only for those who are in Christ Jesus, whose flesh, which is the veil, has been torn with Christ and has been raised up with him, and comes with Christ in the veil, even before the throne of grace. This is because the law of the Spirit of life has set us free from the law of sin and death.
To be freed from the law of sin and death, the body of sin must die to be freed from that law. This is because the law of death, the law of sin, holds only while a person lives. It is written, “Brothers, I say to those who know the law, do you not know that the law governs a person only as long as he lives?” (Romans 7:1) As it is written, when a person dies, the law also ends. And it goes on to testify: “Therefore, my brethren, you also were put to death to the law through the body of Christ, that you might go to another, to him who was raised from the dead, that we might bear fruit for God” (Romans 7) :4) Those who have been slain to the law through the body of Christ are freed from sin and become the freedom of the Son of God, the one who abides in Christ Jesus.
Therefore, the eternal gospel is not that the law will pass away, but that the old man, the body of sin, will die to the law through the law. It is written, “By the law I died to the law, that I might live to God” (Galatians 2:19). will not become slaves to sin.
Many people mistakenly believe that the gospel is all about Jesus atoning for our sins. As a sinner, I have to die with him to receive eternal redemption. I only like the death of Jesus, but I hate to die. In the end, I forget the cleansing of my old sins and fail to enter the rest of God who makes the truth free.
Now is the time to witness the eternal gospel that not only Jesus died, but that I, a sinner, also died with him. Those who testify of this are the works of God that only those of the true Christ Jesus, who died with him and Christ lives in them, can do it.
All of this is done only by faith that leads to the salvation of souls. It is the same as it is written, “In the end of faith, even the salvation of souls” (1 Peter 1:9).
Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. But there are too many people who lie that they, the sinner, are saved. Sinners are not saved, but sinners must be crucified with Christ and die. The cross is the final conclusion to the death of sinners. It is to be free from sin. Those who do not have this conclusion will rather act as enemies of the cross.
Christ Jesus was sent by the Father so that I, a sinner, might die with him. Therefore, as He said, “...If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me” (Matthew 16:24), the cross does not always just take up and follow him. Soon the cross will die with him. Therefore, “If we died with Christ, we also believe that we will live with him” (Romans 6:8) is the true gospel, and the reality of believing in it is the image of Christ. Therefore, faith is the substance of what is hoped for.
Therefore, those who are in Christ Jesus have been raised with him. It is never condemned because the former has passed away, and it cannot be condemned because it is no longer in the flesh. This is because the body of sin is destroyed and there is no more slavery to sin.
Now all things are waiting for these children of God to appear as it is written. Because these are the children of God who have been set free from the bondage of sin. It is written, “The creation longing for the manifestation of the sons of God” (Romans 8:19) “The hope that the creation also be set free from its bondage to corruption, to the glorious liberty of the children of God” (Romans 8:19). Romans 8:21), the glorious freedom of the children of God is now the glorious freedom that those who are in Christ Jesus, who are dead in the body of sin, receive with Christ.
“Therefore, if the Son sets you free, you will be truly free” (John 8:36). Amen, thank you forever.
To God our Father, who has worked in us through Christ to this day, to bring about this work, through his Son our Lord Jesus Christ, the glory goes for ever and ever. Amen
If I die with him...
