Title: Those bound under the law!
As the Bible says, the Israelites were all sinners living under the law. In other words, they are those who can attain eternal life only when the Son of God comes and forgives all sins and saves them so that they can reach eternal life. However, they were already righteous because they were born of the lineage of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Although the Old Testament records the coming of a Savior who will deliver the people of Israel from their sins, they only believed that the Savior would come and protect them even more and make things better on this earth. In front of those who had such thoughts, when Christ came and accuses them of hypocrisy instead of protecting them, they see Jesus as a savior, rather than a heresy, accusing them of a heresy.
This is also true of Christians today. If the Jews received a law that applied to the flesh from Jehovah God, today's Christians are those who have received a spiritual law in their hearts by the Holy Spirit. Just as the Jews could not keep the law perfectly, there is not a single Christian who has fully followed the spiritual law given in their hearts. Nevertheless, all Christians believe that salvation is because they believe in Jesus.
This is just as the Jews believed that being born of the blood of Abraham was salvation. Even though Jews were born of Abraham's lineage, their sins are not forgiven. Just as all the Israelites had to believe in Christ to be saved, Christians today also believe in the name of Jesus, who came to the land of Israel and are spiritual God. They may have become the people, but all Christians will realize that the sins hidden in their hearts will never disappear by just that. That's not all. What will be forgiven for the sins of Christians who have disobeyed the Holy Spirit and lived according to their will?
For this reason, Christ is saying that He will come again like a thief before the spiritual people. However, Christians do not care about what is written in the Bible. At the same time, he believes that only if he goes to church diligently, he can go to heaven. I don't even think about people who give me rice cakes, but it's like drinking kimchi soup. Who is doing this? That is, Satan tricks man and he is sitting in God's place and pretending to be the master.
So, why do they have thoughts that are contrary to God? To realize this, the first step is to realize where humans come from and where they are going. As I have said repeatedly, it is true that all human beings are sinners born of Adam's descendants. Human beings are sinners, so we need to be able to look at God's providence with the premise as a prerequisite. Otherwise, if a human goes to the temple and says, 'I am a child of God, I have no sin,' then he is already making a big mistake. . In other words, Satan is providing an excuse.
If we look at God's providence, we can see that God mobilized inexhaustible things to send His Son into this world. Just as in a movie, in order to make one main actor shine, all kinds of extras and supporting actors are cast to make a dramatic scene, and then the main actor appears to maximize the facts. It means that even the laws of nature are being used as a tool to send a son.
All human beings who appeared before the coming of Christ are, in fact, only models. Therefore, Abraham is a type, Isaac is a type, and Jacob is only a type. To be more specific, Abraham is a type that replaces Jehovah, Isaac is a type of Jesus who will come to the land of Israel, and Jacob is a type of Christ who will come before the Gentiles. Here, the temple in Jerusalem is only a type of Jesus. Even today's chapels are merely models of Christ who will come before the Gentiles.
God's purpose in giving the Jews the laws that apply to the flesh and the spiritual laws that apply to the hearts of Christians today is only a model for welcoming the Christ who is to come. However, humans who do not know this deep providence of God make it easy for them to think of salvation because they were born of Abraham's lineage (Jews) or because they believed in Jesus (Christians). The way to eternal life is possible only by believing in the Son of God. However, the thoughts of humans living in the dark are that they are not even thinking about it.
The Jews believed that believing in Abraham would be salvation, and they were eager to go to the temple and die, but today, Christians believe that they are faithful to go to the chapel and die in order to receive a greater reward in the future. However, this is only a human thought. What kind of reward do those who have not yet solved the problem of sin want? Jeokban Hajang is also oily, and people who eat rice cakes don't even think about it, but it's like drinking kimchi soup first.
Neither the Jews nor the Christians today can ever be forgiven of their sins by anything like the above. Therefore, there can be no salvation because one's sins cannot be forgiven. The only way for man to receive forgiveness of sins is through faith in the Son of God. Even if Jews and Christians today go to the temple and serve faithfully, no matter how much they do, their sins will never be forgiven.
That is why Jews say that they can enter eternal life only if they believe in the Son whom God sends, and Christians today also say that they can attain eternal life only if they believe in the Son whom God sends. If he forgets this fact and thinks that today's Christians have saved themselves, he is in a big error.
Man's sin problem is possible only because he believes in the Son sent by God. Now, if Christians realize this fact, they should abandon the thought that they are saved and wait for Christ who will come like a thief before Christians in the future. with a humble heart. I would say that this is the most worthy belief in the present.
