He said that God allows us to enjoy the blessings in our lives, and these are all gifts from God. We should never live our short life as the protagonist of tragedies such as sorrow, suffering, or pain, but rather as the protagonist of happiness.
Because God loves us as His children, He wants us to do better, to succeed, He wants us to be strong, and He wants us to do well in soul, body, and in all things. God has given to all people enough of the blessings that they can enjoy happiness without exception.
Then, we would like to share grace together while pondering the Word of what God has given us.
First, it is a blessing that you are guaranteed to eat and drink for the rest of your life. (v. 18)
If the problem of eating and drinking is not resolved, the wealth, fame, and authority of life is unthinkable. How many countries are there today where the problem of eating and drinking has not been solved?
This is because they serve demons, not God. First of all, thank God for giving us the gift of being able to eat and drink in Jesus.
If some of you forgot to pray while eating, thank God for the blessing of eating and drinking in the future.
In the Lord's Prayer, there is a prayer content that says, "Give us this day our daily bread" (Matthew 6:11). We should always thank God for our daily bread. Also, when we eat and drink, the purpose must be clear. 1 Corinthians 10:31 says, "Therefore, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God."
Second, it is the blessing of enjoying pleasure.
“I have seen good and beautiful to enjoy pleasure out of all toil under the sun, and this is his portion” (verse 18b). When a person lacks pleasure, he also loses the will to live. Life shines when everyone has healthy hobbies, entertainment, and a healthy life. So today, many people gamble in order to enjoy the pleasure. Play chess or Go. I also go to the Internet and stay up all night. Some people enjoy their hobbies and travel. But the greatest pleasure lies in working for the Lord. All the pleasures of this world are futile, empty, and empty. But those who live and work for God will have the pleasure of joy.
There are living and dead in this world. Everything outside of Christ is like a dead skeleton. All the unrighteous riches brought while enjoying iniquity are more terrifying than poison. I bless you in the name of Jesus that you may enjoy things that are wholesome, spiritual, and good in Christ, and you will be filled with new life and new hope every day.
We must live with true joy in the Lord, and when we have true joy in Jesus, we can bring peace to anyone we meet. If there is suffering and pain, it will cause anxiety to other people as well.
In general, the more irritable, the more bloody, the more rebuking, the more complaining, the more exhortations to others, the less stable they are. But those who have joy in their hearts and are full of boundless love and grace always like to bless them. I like to compliment. I like to elevate. I like to comfort you. It instills hope. In Jesus, we must enjoy the joy God has given us and live to glorify God.
Third, it is the blessing of enjoying wealth and wealth. (verse 19)
The purpose of believing in Jesus should not be set solely on the enjoyment of wealth and wealth. We have to take up our cross and follow the Lord, but that doesn't mean we have to give up our health, wealth, wealth, etc.
Those who know how to spend for God constantly give them riches. All countries in the world that believe in Jesus well are rich countries. On the other hand, all countries that worship demons are poor countries. God has ensured that families who serve God well and that all their descendants will prosper.
Then, to whom will God enjoy riches and wealth?
①I am a person who likes to scatter and save. (Proverbs 11:24)
② Someone who likes to plant good things. (Ga 6:7)
③ He is a diligent person. (Proverbs 10:4)
④ A person who pays a full tithe. (Mal 3:10-12)
Fourth, it is the blessing of being guaranteed the day of life.
“He will not contemplate the day of his life, for God responds with the joy of his heart” (Ecclesiastes 5:20).
Our life is in God's hands.
If you look at the secret of the blessing of long life,
① You must respect your parents well.
"Honor your father and mother. These are the first commandments with a promise, that it may go well with you and you may live long on the earth" (Ephesians 6:2,3).
There is a growing tendency to downplay parents these days. In that era when we knew how to respect elders, God blessed the people of that era. Please respect your parents.
② We must value the lives of others. “Today the Lord cherishes my life as I have cherished your life, so I hope that you will rescue me from all affliction” (1 Samuel 26:24). David valued the life of King Saul.
Dear saints, Whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God, serve the Lord diligently, give alms and diligence, live a full tithe life, respect your parents well, and value the lives of others so that you are guaranteed to eat and drink for the rest of your life. In the name of Jesus, I pray in the name of Jesus that you will be the one who enjoys happiness within, riches and wealth, and receives and enjoys all of God's blessings that are guaranteed the day of life.
