God liked man and made him the lord of all things. He gave us the ability to speak and the wisdom to think, and He breathed a soul into the depths of our hearts. How to be grateful! Unlike beasts, when you see beauty, you are moved. Conquer and rule all things in the world with wisdom. It grows and thrives. Moreover, we know, fear, and serve God. I feel God's love every day and I am at peace. There is no resentment, no harm, no poverty, no misery. There is only peace. Happiness! It was really happy.
But man was not satisfied with that supreme happiness. To say, “Your eyes are opened, and you become like God, knowing good and evil,” you have forsaken the God who gave you life and blessings. I came to follow the enemy, the devil, who destroys people. How would a person be? Did you get any better luck? no. have been abandoned by God. Sorrow and pain have come. and die. Heroes and beautiful women are like fallen leaves in the face of death.
Forsaking God! A heartless person abandons a child. A foolish man abandons his wife. A cruel man abandons his parents. A fool thinks he can forsake God. The Galatian church members were doing just that stupid thing. Forsaking God! It couldn't have been more strange. It was absolutely incomprehensible. “I marvel that you are leaving him who called you by the grace of Christ so quickly to a different gospel.” It was so strange. Even though Jesus Christ gave life to His death in His stead, are you not abandoning the God who gave you mercy so that you can come to the throne of grace as many times as you want to the one who washed you with the blood of Jesus Christ and made you holy children? To forsake God is to forsake life and all happiness, so why not know that? It's just sad. They are the most pitiful and most foolish people. It is like the poor man who was cast out of Eden.
Dear saints, have I not yet forsaken God? Do you think you will never forsake God in the future? That's what you did really well. So let's think about this. What does it mean to forsake God? To go to church and then quit the church is also to forsake God. However, there are cases where we forsake God even while attending church. It is rejecting the Word of God, the will of God. If he does not understand God's will, he has forsaken God. If you do not obey God's Word as it is, you have forsaken God. King Saul is commanded to kill Amalek. “Do not leave any possessions, but destroy them; men and women, children, suckling children, cattle, camels, and donkeys.” You did what you liked. Is this obedience? no. Disobedience. Rebuke God through the mouth of the prophet. “Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, the LORD also has rejected you from being king.” Not knowing the will of God and not obeying His word is to forsake the Lord Himself.
The reason the Galatian saints forsook God was because they followed a different gospel. There are only subtle differences between other gospels and gospels. But the results are huge. Blessings and curses, serving and forsaking God. It was said that false workers must come and obey the law to receive the Holy Spirit, be justified, and be saved. But it was very different from what Jesus taught. It is very good to say that we receive the Holy Spirit, we are justified, and we are saved. It is no different from the gospel. Same. However, there is a difference in how they get it. False workers practiced the law, and the apostle Paul only believed in Jesus Christ, who died on the cross and rose again on the third day. Which one is the gospel?
Perhaps the saying that one must obey the law to be saved may be more appealing to those with a conscience. We often hear people say, “Even if you don’t believe in Jesus, you can only live a good life.” But this is a word our God hates very much. It is impossible to live righteously before God, because because the law is a law, no one can keep everything from cradle to grave. There is no. So God made Jesus Christ in the form of sinners, nailed it to the cross, punished and killed us as sinners, and told people to believe in Jesus. All your sins are taken away, believe in Jesus. Then you will be justified, you will receive the Holy Spirit, and you will be saved. This is the will of God.
We believe, accept, and obey these words and these will of God as they are. I do not seek to be saved because of what I do. I receive the Holy Spirit because I am better than others. They do not say that I am saved because I work harder than others. Just as the method God made before the foundation of the world, only the righteous will live by faith, those who believe in Jesus believe and accept God's word that only he is righteous and will be saved. That's obeying God's word, and it's the only way to keep God inside of you without leaving Him. Even without my merit or goodness, to believe in Jesus is to draw near to God, to be justified, and to receive the Holy Spirit and be saved.
Dear brothers and sisters, does this gospel mean not to practice the law at all? That's not it. The law is not about salvation, but about cursing. There is no body that can be saved by doing the law. Only because God's people have been sanctified in Jesus Christ, they live holy lives like God. Here are just some of the holy laws that apply to us.
Dear saints, do you still think that you can be saved by obeying the law? Then, find out, learn, and practice all of God's laws. As there is a saying that it takes less than ten miles to get sick, “Oh, what a miserable life. Who will save me from this body of death?” and will fall over. If you are kind, you will be saved. Live a good life. But soon you will fall into despair and go further into the abyss of destruction.
But we have Jesus Christ. You are the high priest. He cleansed us with His blood. But our appearance is often dirty. Don't be discouraged. Go quietly before Jesus and get down on your knees. Confess your sins. Don't despair. I weep and pray because I want to quit sin and live a holy life. “Lord! Forgive me my sins, give me strength to overcome iniquity, and give me strength to be filled with the Holy Spirit.” The Lord helps us with the Holy Spirit. gives you strength gives you power He feeds us with spiritual food and nurtures us strong. He was so fragile that he fell both in water and in fire, but one day after many years, he realizes that he has grown up like this.
The weaker we are, the more we hold on to Jesus. Because only Jesus is my strength, strength, and life. The more sins we have, the more we never leave Jesus. Because the moment you step out of Jesus, you will be judged for your sins. To be in Jesus is peace, rest, and paradise. Beloved saints, do not stand up for your own works, but hold fast to Jesus Christ. Believe it. Life, peace and blessings are yours.
