Those who love the temple 2010.10.17 Sunday Psalm 27:4-6
David, the man of God, had one wish. I had a lifelong wish. There was only one wish in my life that I could say that this is my lifelong wish. By looking at a person's wishes, you can recognize a person's personality and everything. A person whose lifelong wish is to earn money becomes a wretch who only sees money. A person whose lifelong wish is to enjoy life ends up enjoying life. A person whose lifelong wish is to succeed and advance into a career path ends up being dragged along by the world's riches and riches. What was David's lifelong wish? Today's text illustrates this fact well. Let's read Psalm 27:4 together. “One thing I will ask of the Lord, that I will live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, beholding the beauty of the Lord, and longing for it in his temple.” David had only one wish. David said he would save only one.
Our 26-year history of Seobu Dongsan Church is a history of love. The shepherd and sheep love the Lord, and this is the amazing history of love that the Lord loved. Psalm 122:6 says, “Seek peace for Jerusalem. Those who love Jerusalem will prosper.” said. He promised a prosperous life to those who love the temple of God, that is, Jerusalem. Those who love the temple prosper.
Dr. Hwalan Kim, the first female doctor in Korea, served as the president of Ewha Womans University and also served as the Minister of Public Information. You were a great leader not only of Korean women but also of our country. The surprising thing, however, is that after completing his ministry, he went down to the countryside and served as a Sunday School teacher until he died. The little kids in the neighborhood always say, “Our Minister Grandma!” It is said that he hung while calling. He was a temple lover. He lived a happy life and ascended to heaven.
Dear all! This is my lifelong wish, but it should be the love of the temple. All countries and individuals who love the temple have been blessed. God blesses those he loves while sacrificing and serving for the temple. “I always serve for this church with tears and prayers until the end of my life.
Amen."
