Title: Those Who Please God

Those who please God (Hebrews 11:4-7)
Let's take a look at what we all need to do at this time to become those who please God through the verse we read today.
First, in order to be one who pleases God, we must offer better sacrifices to God like Abel did (verse 4).
Cain also made sacrifices to God. But why was God not pleased with Cain's offering and only accepted Abel's offering? Some scholars claim that Cain brought some of the produce he had made and offered it as a sacrifice, while Abel made a sacrifice with the firstborn of his sheep and their fat to offer a blood sacrifice, that is, a 'sacrifice of repentance'. It is'. That's right. Those who come to God must prepare gifts with sincerity. Like Cain, he should not give anything of his possessions to God. Like Abel, we must deeply acknowledge that we are sinners and do not deserve to stand before God, and we must come to God with a repentant heart and offer sacrifices. Only then will God be pleased with the sacrifice.
Second, in order to become one who pleases God, we must live a life of walking with God like Enoch (verse 5).
This Enoch is the 7th generation of Adam and 6th generation of the godly Seth. The book of Jude in the New Testament records that Enoch lived the life of a prophet who urged repentance while pointing out ungodly things and ungodly words to the people of the fallen age.
Many people are mistaken. If you want to live a godly life, you must live a monastic life away from the world. However, in a fallen world, that is, in an ungodly world, Enoch did not lose faith and lived a life of godly walking with God, but he was warning of God's judgment against the words and actions of the unrighteous in the world. That is, he ascended to heaven without dying.
The writer of Hebrews writes of Enoch as one who was pleasing to God. This Enoch is a symbol of all the godly saints living in this fallen age. “I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me, even if they die, will live, and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.” He walked with our Lord who said, “I am the resurrection and the life.” He preached the gospel in this fallen age, preaching the gospel and condemning the sins of the world. All godly saints who live a pleasing prophetic life should be.
Third, in order to become one who pleases God, we must live a life of building the ark of salvation by faith like Noah (verse 7).
When Noah was warned of things not yet seen, he prepared the ark by faith and in fear and trembling of the Lord God. The writer of Hebrews writes that this was the reason Noah received God's approval. Noah's faith is truly amazing. Building a huge ark with unconditional faith in the judgment of the Great Flood that will occur 120 years from now would be impossible without certainty. This faith of Noah was not for his own salvation, but for all mankind and for all living things on the earth. When he built the ark at that time, he informed people that the world was going wrong by faith, and the easy Bible translates that he had a righteous relationship with God. The King James Version that we have read condemns the world and translates it as heirs of the righteousness that follows faith. In other words, God taught through Noah's faith that all the people of the world who did not believe were wrong, and that Noah, who lived only by faith, was right.
Dear brothers and sisters, by worshiping God with a righteous life like Abel, walking with God on a prophetic mission like Enoch, building the ark of salvation like Noah, and leading many souls to the Lord. I bless you in the name of the Lord to become all the saints who make you happy.
