Title: Those Who Please God by Faith
Contents
body description
In Hebrews 10:39 we read, “We are not of those who retreat back and fall into destruction, but that we come to the salvation of souls.
He who has faith” and verse 38 says, “But my righteous one will live by faith.”
This phrase, “But my righteous one will live by faith” appears three times in the New Testament.
However, their emphasis is different.
Romans 1:17 - The principle of justification (doctrine)
Galatians 3:11 - Comparing the principle of justification with the “principle of the law”
Hebrews 10:38 - Explains what the life of the righteous living by faith is like as ‘the application of justification’

However, the prophet Isaiah summarized it in six lessons, and Micah implied it in three lessons again.
And the prophet Habakkuk emphasizes in one word, “Live by faith.”
So, what does it mean to live by faith?
In order to explain its meaning, the writer of Hebrews shows the lives of people who actually lived a life of faith in Chapter 11 of the text.
So we find the true face of faith in the lives and personalities of our ancestors in Hebrews 11, which is the hall of honor and the peak of the highest mountain range of faith.

Psalm 34:8 - "Taste and see that the LORD is good."

*Enoch who walked with God (Genesis 5:21-23) - Verse 5 (He received the testimony that he was pleasing to God)
Ex) Confession of Choi Kyung-ju
“I have opened my eyes of faith this year. Be sure to pray in faith before the game.
If you pray with faith in times of crisis, the putting line will appear clearly as if it were drawn in a line.
The secret to winning is faith in God.”
Faith works miracles.
But not many believe this.
Only those who have experienced it know the secret.

Nick Vujicic's Hug - If you can stand up again, it's okay to fall. (Overcome with the power of faith)
According to psychologists, only 10% of events that happen to humans are facts (results) and the other 90% are reactions to events.
This means that in all things, if you respond positively, the person becomes a positive person, and if you respond negatively, the person becomes a negative person.
Ex) A person who seeks only popularity
10% of the facts were true, but 90% of the reactions are not going to continue,
problematic,
Just thinking about falling, the tendency to dominate the whole person changed to a negative one.
Therefore, it is not the 'fact' that is important to us, but the 'how to react'.
People with faith are people who overturn 10% of the facts through 90% of reactions, no matter how difficult it is.
If you have faith, you will hope for what you cannot hope for.
If you have faith, you will see what you cannot see.
I hope that you will become the children of God who move forward believing that you can do the impossible if you have faith.
