Title: Those who remain in Jerusalem.
Contents Isaiah 4 records the harsh punishment that will come upon Jerusalem and the will of relief.
Saints who wish to remain rather than to leave! Let's not leave the church. Let's love the stump that remains. why are we Are you thinking of leaving? The strangers who left Jerusalem wandered as captives, slaves, and wandering migrants. The men of Jerusalem are swordsmen... The warriors were destroyed in the war, so there were many widows and orphans everywhere. Therefore, they were in a situation where seven women seized a man and begged for their survival (Isaiah 4:1).
First, those who remain in Zion will receive the title of holiness (Isaiah 4:1-3).
Those who depart from the present hardships will leave and stay there where another form of suffering awaits. But the prophet Amos emphasized that those who wait patiently until the day of the Lord, the day when the Messiah will sprout, will receive the glorious fruit. Therefore, it was prophesied that all those who remained in Jerusalem and survived would be made holy. Therefore, those who wait patiently will receive good fortune.
Second, those who remain in Jerusalem will enter the tent of glory (Isaiah 4:4-6).
A period of recovery from hardship will surely come to those who have passed through the tunnel of hardship. The prophet Amos prophesied that in the day of the Lord the Lord would cleanse the daughters of Zion from the defilement of the spirit of judgment and the consuming spirit, and that the blood of the people of Jerusalem would be purified from them. He also foretold that there would be clouds of glory and smoke and light of flames resting on the mountain of the LORD, holy Mount Zion and its assembly. Therefore, he prophesied that the glory would rest on the tent, and it would be a time of safety and serenity for survival. Therefore, the Prophet Amos taught that everyone should hope to stay in Jerusalem and be protected in his wings and in his tent (Isaiah 4:6).
Dear saint! The Apostle Paul confesses that the sufferings that come upon us cannot be compared with the glory to come. The Lord Jesus did not escape the sufferings of the cross (Mark 14:31-49). He treated the rebels like foolish sheep (Mark 14:50). Also, internally, it was Jesus who forgave even the utterances of the apostle Peter (Mark 14:26-31) and gave him new motivation (John 21:15-25). Therefore, the prophecy of Jerusalem was the seed of faith, the seed of Jehovah, that is, the prophecy of the birth of Jesus. I completely depend on the wings of the Lord to escape true suffering. -Amen-
Our Lord Jesus Christ! I want to stay focused on believing and knowing (Ephesians 4:13-16) and working (1 Thessalonians 4:11-12).
