Title: Thou shalt not steal (Exodus 20:15)
Contents
① Among the ten commandments, the eighth commandment is “You shall not steal.” ② This commandment is a command to treat possessions properly, and it is a commandment that forbids others to make their own possessions without blood and sweat. ③ Only what one has made or possessed through hard work, sweat, and effort is one's own. ④ Secretly speaking, it is also an act of robbery for children to seek their parents' inheritance.
“What is the theft of a saint?”
① The theft of saints is to steal something that God has given to each of the saints with his own dignity, but to spy on, seek, covet, try to take, or take something that does not belong to others, knowing or not knowing, is stealing. ② You must be careful not to become the type of person who wants to take what others have created with all their might without paying anything for it. ③ You must have such a view of ownership that you only own what you get in return for your sweat. ④Theft includes theft of people, theft of church members, material, rights, knowledge, skills, status, work, books, ... mental theft, etc. ⑤ Anything that a believer has by keeping God's commandments is not stealing, but all that he has while breaking the commandments is an excess of power stolen by vain and vanity, and it is illegally obtained by stealing and stealing God's things. ⑥ You should not covet the portion God has given you, knowing that you are sufficient.
“It is a commandment to be pure in matter.”
① In order to become a pure material person, you must not steal, no matter how small. ②People do not consider a small thief as small as a needle thief as stealing or a sin, and do it without hesitation. ③ While conducting commercial activities of buying and selling, looking at the market on behalf of the owner, calculating the expenses inaccurately during the performance of duties, and misusing the things one is handling... are all thefts. ④ The saints should not commit any petty theft and should be clean in material things. God wants the saints to be clean of this material. ⑤ Theft, whether large or small, is the same as being caught in the commandments of God. ⑥ Since the commandments are commanded by God by setting boundaries, no matter how trivial they are, they are in conflict with God and the commandments. ⑦ It is very unfortunate to be in opposition to God who completely controls our eternal life and death, success, failure, honor and glory.
“God will give you material blessings only when you become a clean person.”
① If the saints steal even the smallest things and are not clean in material, they will not receive the material blessings that God gives them. ② Just as a big fish craves a very small bait, and its entire life is caught and killed, so if you get caught up in the commandments of God through petty theft and become opposed to God and become a sinner, no matter how much God tries to bless you, you will fall for this and not be blessed. ③ Therefore, believers must repent of the things they steal from home, work, church, and workplace, no matter how small or small, and live as a pure material person. ④ The reason why the saints keep getting blocked and their material things are not prosperous is that they do not have clean materials due to petty theft. ⑤ If you become a clean person by repenting of minor thefts, your faith will improve, your zeal will increase, and because God is with you, helps you, and gives you blessings, your material life will prosper and you will become wealthy.
“Let us control ourselves and become one who is pure in matter.”
① If a believer does not pay tithes, it is robbing God. Breaking the Lord's Day is robbing the Lord's day, stealing worship, and not giving the glory to God is theft of the glory of God. ② In order to become a clean person, ● You must live according to your own fraction. ●If you live a life full of minutes, you will become a thief. ●Be careful about borrowing money and foreign transactions. ●To borrow without the strength to repay is a thief. ● Excessive desire and greed must be controlled. ●You should try to earn money easily or give up your dream of making money. ●You must live with the spirit of self-sufficiency, money, and self-reliance (2 Thessalonians 3:10) ●Make a good living (Ephesians 4:28). ●Need to be sober, honest, and patient. ● Any economic activity should be done in the spirit of benefiting and blessing others. ● Do not do it for my glory, but do it for the glory of God.
