Title: Three Faces of Faith (Humility/Faith/Courage)
Contents
As Jesus was saying these things, a leader came and knelt down to Jesus and said, "My daughter has just died. But come and lay your hands on her, and she will live."
Jesus got up and followed him, and the disciples followed him.
But a woman who had been suffering from bleeding for twelve years came to Jesus from behind and touched Jesus' tunic.
The woman said to herself, "If I could just touch his clothes, I would be healed!" did it
Jesus turned and looked at the woman and said, "Cheer up, daughter. Your faith has saved you." At that very moment the woman was healed.
When Jesus came to the ruler's house, he saw the flute players and a commotion.
He said this. "Everyone go away. The girl is not dead, she is sleeping." They ridiculed Jesus.
After letting the crowd go, Jesus went in and took the girl by the hand, and the girl jumped up.
This news spread throughout the land.
As Jesus was departing from there, two blind men followed him, crying out, “Son of David, have mercy on us.”
Jesus went into the house, and the blind men came to him. Jesus said to them. “Do you believe I can do this?” They say, "Yes, Lord!" and answered.
Jesus touched their eyes and said, “Be according to your faith.”
Then their eyes were opened. Jesus made a solemn promise to them. "Don't tell anyone about this."
But they went out and spread the news of Jesus throughout the land.
