Title: Three Kinds of Houses/John 1:12
Contents Three kinds of houses/John 1:12
“To all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God… ” (John 1:12)
It is said that people have three types of houses. The first is a house called Yodang. This is the house where you live in your mother's womb. The second is a house in which we live in a world called Jidang. The third is the house called Heaven, the house where you live forever after you die. The important thing is that the life in heaven is determined by how the person lived in the realm, that is, in the world. There are important things to do on this earth. It is to believe in Jesus as my Savior and go to heaven after completing the mission entrusted to me. Then why should humans believe in Jesus?
First, because there is no way to receive forgiveness of sins. Because of Adam and Eve, man is suffering in sin. Even those who try to live a good life are sinners before God. That is why all humans are sinners. Peter confesses after meeting the Holy Jesus. “Depart from me, Lord, for I am a sinner” (Luke 5:8). After experiencing God's presence, Isaiah confesses that he is a sinner (Isaiah 6:5). If you do not yet know that you are a sinner before God, you are living in darkness. So how can this sin be dealt with? There is none but Jesus. It says in 1 John 1:9. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9).
Second, because of the limitations of their abilities. People live in the illusion that they can do anything on their own. But why does the baby cling to the mother and refuse to fall? Because there is nothing he can do.
Third, because of the limitations of life. Everyone dies. And I don't know what to do tomorrow. The Bible says “You do not know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a moment and then vanishes” (James 4:14). "Jesus said, I am the resurrection and the life; whoever believes in me will live even if he dies (John 11:25)." Therefore, we must make a decision. It is living with the conviction that 'I am God's heir'.
