Title: Time of Prayer

Contents

A time of prayer (Romans 12:12)

When should we pray?

I choose the best time I can in the given time.

You must go forward in fellowship with God.

1. A time of prayer

1) in the morning

Jesus also went to a lonely place at dawn to pray.

It is very important to have fellowship with the Lord as soon as you wake up in the morning.

There is no one wrong with the one who prayed at dawn, and those who did great things in the world

They were all zealous for early morning prayer. - Bounces

2) in the morning

(Psalm 5:3) In the morning, O LORD, you will hear my voice; in the morning I will pray to you and hope.

In addition, in the Psalms, we see that God hears prayers in the morning.

Spurgeon asked the Lord to give us the morning of a day and the morning of a lifetime.

3) Pray at the 6th and 9th o'clock

Peter, John, and Cornelius heard the voice of God through the ninth hour of prayer.

I also heard Peter prayed at 6 o'clock. Even Muslims today pray at 6 and 9 o'clock.

4) Pray at night

(Isa 26:9) My soul longed for you in the night

In the New Testament, we can see that Jesus prayed all night long.

You can see that Jesus sent the crowd away and went to the mountain alone to pray all night long.

Sometimes he is seen praying all night with his disciples in the Garden of Gethsemane.

5) Pray day and night

In the morning, evening, and noon, you must pray without ceasing.

Christians should always pray and not lose heart.

Through prayer and supplication, we must pray in the Holy Spirit, watch and seek.

Just as our pulse must not rest, so must our prayer life.

1 Thessalonians 5:17 tells us to pray without ceasing,

The text also tells us to rejoice in hope, be patient in affliction, and be steadfast in prayer.

Prayer serves as a link between the past and the present.

A prayer that begins with faith must continue until it is fulfilled.

The saying to always pray without ceasing means that Christians should always be filled with the Holy Spirit.

It is a word that we must live in fellowship with the Lord, repentance, thanksgiving, supplication, intercession,

The prayers of praises do not end once, but praise and thanks go to heaven.

must continue afterward, repentance and confession whenever a new sin comes to mind;

Intercession and supplication should continue until answered.

6) Until you die by ignoring

Christians should always live in prayer. Wake up when walking or lying down

We must live with a prayerful heart, whether we are driving or doing anything.

We must pray until we praise.

Even after Jesus was crucified, he prayed for the last time to entrust his soul to the Father.

In Acts 7:60, when Stephen was also martyred, he knelt down and prayed the last prayer and was martyred.

It is a sin against God the Father for a Christian to stop praying.

We must continue our life of prayer at any time and in any case.

2. A time of prayer

1) In the Old Testament, people prayed when the nation was in crisis or when a king was appointed.

I prayed to destroy the enemy or to build the temple,

When I repented of my sins against God, I prayed to God.

Esther prayed and asked Mordecai to fast and pray.

When Nehemiah heard the news of his homeland from among the captives, he prayed.

At the last moment, Samson sought the power of God and destroyed his enemies.

Solomon built the temple and prayed,

Jonah prayed to repent of his disobedience in the belly of the fish.

2) According to the New Testament, Jesus prayed when he was baptized and when he began his public ministry, when he chose his disciples and when he was busy working for the gospel.

He prayed even in front of the cross, and when he performed miracles, I

He also prayed when he offered himself as a sacrifice.

3) If we look at the Apostle Paul, when we are saved, when the church in Antioch sends out missionaries,

I prayed when choosing an elder in each church, and even while serving in prison,

I prayed, and I also prayed when I said goodbye to the church members.

3. A place of prayer

1) in the temple

(2 Chronicles 20:9) If a plague or a famine comes upon us, a plague or a storm or a reproof comes upon us.

Your name is in this house, and we stand before this house and before you in this affliction.

When you cry out to the Lord, you hear and you will save.

In Luke 2, after 84 years of being a widow, she prayed without leaving the temple and met the baby Jesus.

I received the blessing, and they said that my house is the house of prayer for all people, and Peter and John

While going up to the temple at the appointed prayer time, he healed a crippled beggar.

2) in the mountains

When Israel was fighting the Amalekites, Moses raised his hands and prayed

Victory was tasted, and we can see Jesus often going to the mountains to pray.

When he took his disciples to the mountain, he showed them the changed image.

3) In the wilderness, by the river, on the seashore, on the roof

After fasting, we can see that Jesus went into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.

When Jesus was baptized in the river and prayed, the heavens were opened and a voice was heard.

In Acts 21, we can see that they prayed together on the beach while saying goodbye.

Peter went up to the roof and prayed.

4) At home, in the closet

Cornelius, while praying at home, heard the voice of the Lord,

Mark's house was a place where many disciples gathered and prayed.

When he heard that Hezekiah was also going to die, he went to bed in his own house.

He turned his face to the wall and prayed.

Daniel also prayed with the window open to Jerusalem from his house.

The Lord told us to do it in our closet when we pray.

He was referring to a quiet place where no one was disturbed.

5) Towers, pits, prisons, the belly of the fish, in front of the tombs, on the cross, at the place of prayer,

in a quiet place, in a secret place

The watchman prays in the watchtower, if he falls into the pit of pain or sorrow, he prays there; like Paul and Silas, he prays even though he is in prison; We pray like the Lord who prayed toward the

We should pray in any place, in a secluded place or in a secret place.

It is really important to set aside a quiet, set place and time to pray.

Prayer should be a part of our lives.

It is better to pray in a quiet place than in a noisy place.

Determining the time and place is just as much effort.

But most importantly

You must live a life of prayer wherever you are, without ceasing.

Just as our breathing continues wherever there is life.

Let's become saints who always live a life of prayer without ceasing.
