Hebrews 11:1-6
We believe in Jesus, but what does it mean to believe? What are we really looking for when we believe in Jesus? What is the misconception of believing? Let's find out what the true meaning of what we believe is.
1. What we believe tells us that there is a certain object.
(Verse 1)
What is the object of my faith? Let's confess again.
2. What we believe is about all phenomena that I have not yet experienced.
It means that there is a firm expectation that cannot be changed (verses 2-3).
In other words, Jesus Christ, the only object of our faith,
Are you convinced of all the histories and prophecies of the past, present and future of “God”?
3. What we believe means to do our best to achieve what we believe
It means to be able to accept anything and be totally dependent on it (verses 4-6).
What was the belief of the forefathers of faith?
What do I really believe? And what do you do to keep your faith and achieve it?
