To be happy is to have peace and joy in many ways. A family without joy can never be said to be happy, and a family without peace cannot be said to be happy either. This joy and peace can be said to be the most important factors in happiness.
Through the Bible we read today, Jesus said in parables that in order to bear fruit, sacrifice and devotion must be made.
It is the conclusion that devotion and sacrifice are necessary to bear the fruit of joy and peace.
Now, let's see what we have to dedicate and sacrifice for the happiness of our family.
1. marital relationship
The most basic building block of a family is a married couple. Therefore, the happiness of the family is determined by what the couple is doing.
Then, let's see what part of the couple has to dedicate and sacrifice.
1) Acknowledge each other
Recognizing each other means respecting each other's personalities. This means that you should not blindly ignore or be careless because your thoughts are different from yours. Respect for personality means to respect the opinions of others. But this is never easy. This is because the relationship between the couple is without faults, so if you don't like it you can easily ignore it. The one who is easily hurt in this process is the wife. Men are a bit nervous, so they don't come to mind quickly. However, the women are sensitive and hurt by the words, and the depression lasts for a long time.
It is not easy to respect each other's opinions, but it is something that a couple should strive for.
Only then can a happy family begin. Most couples fights start with a disagreement. The idea that I am right is the beginning of the fight.
Human opinion can never be perfect. No human opinion can be perfect without knowing the future. That's why we need wisdom to respect each other's opinions and seek each other's good opinions while asking them to discuss together.
If you are a married couple who believe in Jesus, it is also a very good way to pray after asking what God thinks if any problems arise.
2) Anxiety of children due to conflict of opinion between husband and wife
Children's minds are ten times weaker than adults. So we cry easily and laugh easily. Adults know that they are nothing, and mothers and fathers quarrel, but children feel insecure in their appearance. If this intensity is strong, this child will become anxious whenever he hears loud noises. In the end, you become a child with a weak heart.
There is a word called shyness. Children under very strict parents are just noticing. There is always fear in fear. Even when this child grows up, he becomes a very problematic child who is reluctant to relate to others.

Receive warm love and forgiveness 10 times and terrify it once, because that love overcomes that fear. However, the fear of not doing it in the form of love is a very serious wound.
3) Instill in children that parents are afraid
Parents should raise their children with love. But that doesn't mean you have to make a love that says you've done everything right.
You need to show your parents that you are afraid when you are being reckless or constantly disobeying your parents. This education is God's education.
God is very patient and if you ignore a few warnings, He disciplines you very terribly. Because of this appearance of God, the saints say that he is a God of love, but on the other hand, they fear God.
It is only possible until 3rd grade that parents show that they are afraid. For children who have reached the age of 3, leave it to God and pray that God will do it. Then God will provide the education that parents could not do.
2. Parental Mission
The reason God gave the family is to glorify God through the family. Therefore, the greatest mission of parents is to make them a family of faith. All family members must become one through faith and glorify God.
For this to happen, parents must go out in constant prayer. Without prayer, you will never be able to build a family of faith. To pray is to receive help from God. If you don't pray, God won't help you, so keep praying and get God's help.
Please be patient and pray with a firm belief that it will bear fruit.
Even if you can't give your child good food, if you pray for your child every day, it can be said that the parent has fulfilled 98% of the mission for the child.
Through your prayers, your children are now growing and changing.
God is alive.
He is the living God who still hears our prayers and works.
