Title: To Enjoy the Happiness of the Poor
Contents
The happiness of the poor (Matthew 5:3)
1. We must learn the poverty of Jesus.
Jesus was born poor and died poor, so he was poor
He was born in a manger in Bethlehem, and the Lord said that foxes also have dens and
Even the birds have a place to nest, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head (Matthew 8:20).
Jesus was crucified naked and borrowed the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea
He stayed for three days and was resurrected, and because he lived in poverty, anyone can visit him.
Jesus left the glorious heavens of his Son and went to earth to dwell among us.
He came to the people, but he was rejected, and there was no place for him to be born, so he lay down in a manger for animals.
After His Resurrection, He ascended into heaven and sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in our hearts.
You're still knocking on the door (Revelation 3:20)
If anyone opens the door to the Lord, the Lord dwells in him, and he is the master.
Those who do this cannot open the door, but those who have an empty heart will receive the Lord and become heaven.
This is a poor heart, and there is happiness in this heart; the poor in spirit
Happy, not envious of the rich and content with it in any case.
We must have the Lord fully in our hearts and nail our passions and desires to the cross.
But our hearts can't empty themselves, we can't make our own minds
We must pray and receive the power of the Holy Spirit while weeping, grieving, and weeping.
To be poor in heart is to be a Christian, to follow Christ
He wanted the disciples to join in this poverty that Jesus had chosen as the path of discipleship.
The disciples left their boats and nets to follow, but Jesus became poor.
He tells me to follow me, so why are we so greedy?
Jesus said to be poor in spirit, so why can't you have a poor heart?
Let us quietly listen to the voice of the Lord. Blessed are the poor, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven
The words of Jesus Christ are the eternal truth yesterday and today, so that the church may become rich
We must give up the idea that we can help the poor and do relief work with material things.
Rather than a business man who helps the poor with a thousand clothes
A poor boss truly makes the people rich and accomplishes the mission of Christ.
Jesus Christ asks of us nothing
The church is only commanding itself to go down the path of poverty.
Peter said to the beggar who sat at the temple gate, silver and gold I have none, but
What I have, I give you, walk in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth (Acts 3:6).
The church will become a rich church when it becomes a poor church that has nothing to give but Jesus.
To Thomas Aquinas, the head of the Catholic Church, he was the Pope at the time.
When Innocent II said that the days without silver and gold are over.
Your Majesty comes the right word. But to us we speak in the name of Jesus of Nazareth,
Gone are the days when people were told to get up and walk.”
In the 2,000-year history of the church, the times when the walls of the church were plastered with gold and enjoyed wealth have been corrupted.
There was a time when there were disciples who were stinky but tried to become poor.
The church is not about how many people gathered or how big the church is.
It is important whether or not you have the spirit to participate in the poverty of Jesus Christ.
When you are united with the poor, you can share in the poverty of Christ.
(2 Corinthians 8:9) You know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that he was rich,
For your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.
2. For those who are poor in spirit, the kingdom of heaven belongs to them.
The poor in spirit are completely united with God, and God alone is his everything.
Only God is the help, the hope, and the joy, so the soul becomes heaven.
The kingdom of heaven is the kingdom that Christ rules
Those who became poor in Christ were happy,
None of those who pursued material wealth confessed to happiness.
The spiritually poor have no hope in the kingdom of this world, so the poor
I have been comforted in Christ and I am living with all my hopes in heaven.
Those who want to be rich on earth will not be able to do so in the kingdom of the world because everything is on this earth.
Obsessed, the rich's longing for heaven is only a formality and a fantasy.
If there is any hope for the future heaven
Only those who have obtained the mystery of becoming poor because they will not make an effort
Heaven belongs to us, and we can enjoy happiness.
Jesus pointed to Lazarus as the model of heaven for the poor.
Lazarus was so poor that he lived naked and in ragged clothes, was malnourished,
His body is full of diseases, and he sleeps on a bale at the rich man's gate.
The rich man filled his stomach with the leftovers, and when he died, he was buried in the cemetery outside the castle.
Abandoned, but the rich man gained weight and the fat was smeared all over
I slept soundly on the soft bed, ate and lived happily every day
It was a life in stark contrast to having a luxurious funeral when he died.
I lived in such an incomparable living environment, but I had an incomparable outlook on life.
There was a difference. Lazarus suffered for a while in the world, but he grew immeasurably and
He was seeing the glory of the eternal heaven (Romans 8:18)
was convinced, and Lazarus' heart was poor,
Heaven was in his heart, without greed for the rich.
God chooses the poor of the world to be rich in the faith
He made them heirs of the kingdom promised to those who love him (James 2:5).
Do you think getting rich will solve your life's fundamental problems?
Money can buy a bed, but not sleep,
You can buy books, but not memory; you can buy food, but taste.
You can't buy ornaments, you can't buy beauty, you can't buy medicine
But you cannot buy health, you can buy a luxurious life,
Culture cannot be bought, pleasure can be bought with money, but happiness cannot.
There are things in this world that money cannot buy, no matter how much money you make.
Money cannot buy peace of mind, nor can you buy heaven.
As the British newspaper defines it, money can buy everything but happiness.
It's a global tool, a ticket to everywhere except heaven.
You cannot appease a guilty conscience, you cannot stop the path of death, and you cannot live in heaven.
3. We must live in poverty.
I have to help the poor, but more important than that is making myself poor.
Helping the poor is the first step to mercy, but being poor yourself
Poverty with the spirituality of Christ, not poverty because of lack of money
It is poverty that is free from material things, and it is sacred poverty in which poverty does not feel uncomfortable.
We should try to live in poverty.
Knowing right away that you are poor and sharing, you become poor, and you
When we become poor by unity, we come to the riches of Christ,
Possess true freedom and happiness, and heaven becomes your home
Truly, the poor in spirit rejoice in the poverty of the body.
Those whose body is luxurious and full of worldly greed cannot be poor in spirit
If following Jesus is a blessing, we must now train to live in poverty.
Being poor and being poor are different.
Being ignorant, lazy, and debauched, is a curse to be poor, for not eating
Poverty, dying of malnutrition and disease, is a shadow of hell,
A person who wants to be rich but has become poor is not a blessing.
Like Jesus, despite being rich, he became poor himself and made others
Blessed is the one who makes the rich, and poverty and good poverty are two different things.
How rich am I now or how poor am I?
Humans want to be rich, but no one has ever confessed that being rich was happy.
Like Jesus Christ, the poor will enjoy the happiness and freedom of life.
Don't become rich with much, but become rich who give and give
Be rich who can be poor rather than rich who can give much
Jesus wants the poor person more than the rich to serve.
The poor in spirit are not uncomfortable living in poverty
I do not envy the rich and live contentedly no matter what circumstances they are in.
They are happy people because they already have heaven in their hearts.
St. Francis believed that poverty was the way to God.
He said that he loved poverty and married him, and called poverty his wife.
We are free from all things by being poor.
Christian poverty is being poor in order to make others rich.
Jesus said that the poor are blessed
We know that only being rich is a blessing, and we only wish to be rich.
We must enjoy the happiness of Christ by becoming a little poorer.
We've never wanted to be poor, we just wanted to be rich.
Repent of greed, lower the greed that climbed to the end of the neck,
We must destroy it, demolish false ideas, and destroy the idols of greed.
Break the exaltation against the knowledge of God and take every thought captive
Let us kneel because we must submit to Christ.
Like Lazarus, if you make your soul poor, you will be in heaven while you are alive, and you will be in heaven even if you die.
Making one's heart always poor is the secret to being happy.
