Title: To Get Life Again
Contents
“The Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it again” (John 10:17).
The words written above are the words of Christ Jesus, who is now the firstborn, while he was on earth as the only begotten Son, the eternal gospel.
God's love is the gospel. But the world does not know what God's love is. This is because, through Satan's temptations, the satisfaction of fleshly desires is transformed into the gospel and deceived. The Bible speaks of this as “another Jesus, a different spirit, a different gospel” (2 Corinthians 11:4).
As it is written, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no human heart has conceived of all that God has prepared for those who love him” (1 Corinthians 2:9). It is the same as casting a net "at the right hand side of the boat" and saying "My sheep hear my voice" and "The Son of Man came to seek and save the lost" (Luke 19:10). Aren't "lost ones" those who were originally with him?
Therefore, “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, and do not share in her sins, and receive not of her plagues” (Revelation 18:4). The Bible clearly testifies to this, “You will give birth to a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21).
Also, “For those whom God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers” (Romans 8:29). What more can we say?
The Son is clearly in the Father's love. As it is written, “A voice came from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, with thee I am well pleased” (Mark 1:11).
Here we can know for sure what God's love is, guided by the Spirit of truth.
In the written words, “We have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love. He who abides in love abides in God, and God in him” (1 John 4:16). With his Son, we have come to know the love he loves us
Therefore, those who are in love are in God.
Let's listen to the testimony of the Son again. "The Father loves me, because I lay down my life in order to take it again" (John 10:17).
In this true gospel, the life you gain again is the life of the spirit (eternal life), and the life you throw away is the life of the flesh (lifetime). Those who are in the flesh neglect this great salvation, and in the end they cannot escape the wrath of God. This is the resurrection of judgment.
“Those who are after the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, and those who follow the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. The mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace. For those who are in the flesh cannot please God” (Romans 8:5-8), because those who are in the flesh cannot know what life is to be regained. .
This is the same as saying, “The heart of this people has become hardened, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes are closed, lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, that they may turn and I may heal them” (Matthew 13:15). is. The Bible testifies of this as "vessels prepared for destruction."
Then it is not something we do alone, Jesus Christ alone, that we lay down our lives in order to take them again. It is written in the words of evidence, “He does not need to do anything like the daily sacrifices of the high priests, first for his own sins and then for the sins of the people, for he did this by offering himself once for all” (Hebrews 7:27). Those who do not know the mystery of this faith, that is, those who are not “decided to have eternal life,” are those who have only carnal thoughts to become like Jesus. It is a temptation to work among them to believe a lie.
Regarding this, the Word of truth testifies: “The coming of the evil one will come according to the works of Satan, with all powers and signs and false miracles and all deceitfulness of unrighteousness to those who are perishing, because they did not receive the love of the truth. Therefore, God caused temptation to work in them, to believe the lie, that all who do not believe the truth and have delight in iniquity may be condemned” (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12). .
As it is, we “have Christ and are found in him” are those who are united to the Lord, just as it is said, “He who is united to the Lord is one spirit” (1 Corinthians 6:17).
The love of God our Father in Christ Jesus will be with Christ Jesus forever and ever to us who are seeking to gain Christ and to be found in him, and to those of us who follow to seize the things that were caught by him. “We always carry in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body” (2 Corinthians 4:10). Amen, Amen.
