Title: To Meet Jesus

Contents To Meet Jesus Luke 19:1-7 Everyone, the teacher will ask you some questions, so please answer them. Hmm, where do I go to have fun watching a movie? So where do you go to meet and study with your teachers and friends? It fits well. So where do you go when you wash your face in the morning or your face is dirty? Ok. Surely there are no friends going to the kitchen to wash themselves? Where are our friends now? Are you at church? Why did you come to church? Yes. We came to the church to worship.

Worship is a time to meet with God. It is a time to get to know God and be with God. However, most of our friends only worship once on a Sunday, but the Bible tells us to live with God all the time. It is because our lives can be truly happy when we are with God.

So, what is the way to be with God? Prayer, reading the Bible, and living according to the words of the Bible! Yes, everything was fine. But there's a little problem. Because we have to go to academy, play with friends, play games… There are so many things to do that I can't find time to meet God. What should I do? Ok. There are many difficulties, but nonetheless, I try to meet God. I remember God moment by moment, take the time to pray for even 10 minutes, read the Bible from time to time, and do things that God will like. There are people in the Bible today who work hard to meet God even in obstacles and are saved after meeting God. Who is it?

Everyone, are you familiar with the story of Zacchaeus? People just cursed and hated Zacchaeus. Because Zacchaeus was a man who collected taxes from the people and gave them to the country, but he was not honest and took more money to get his share in the middle.

Zacchaeus like this was a rich man who lacked nothing, but he was not happy even when he ate delicious food, and he was always lonely no matter what he did. Then one day I heard that a man named Jesus was coming to Jericho where Zacchaeus lived.

“Yes, Jesus knows why I am not happy when I have a lot of money! I have to go see Jesus.” Zacchaeus left the house to meet Jesus.

“Jesus has come to town!” people shouted At this sound, people working, sleeping, and eating all flocked to see Jesus. There were so many people that Zacchaeus could not see Jesus at all. There was a reason why there were so many people, but in fact, Zacchaeus was very short. So even if I jumped and jumped, I couldn't see Jesus.

I thought, ‘I’ll have to crawl through the crowd.’ I fell on my stomach and tried to go, but people were just moving around and I couldn’t get in. "What do we do?" It was then that Zacchaeus had a startling thought.

‘Yes, there is a mulberry tree next to me. The trees aren't very tall, so it's good to climb up. People will be embarrassed to see him, but I still want to see Jesus!’ Zacchaeus climbed up the mulberry tree and was able to see the Jesus he had been hoping for. Jesus was near. Overjoyed, he said, “Jesus, look here. It's me!” And I'm about to shout, that's when! Jesus turned his head and looked at Zacchaeus. And you said

“Zacchaeus~”

Zacchaeus answered with a trembling voice, so amazed

“Yes, Jesus!”

“Come down. Today I want to rest at your house.”

Zacchaeus came down shouting for joy. “Jesus, come with me. Jesus, just follow me.” Zacchaeus welcomed Jesus as if he had won the whole world.

‘Even if I had a lot of money, ate delicious food, or wore nice clothes, I was not happy… .'Zacchaeus knew what the greatest joy was the moment he met Jesus.

Children, there was an obstacle that stood in the way of Zacchaeus who wanted to meet Jesus. What was it? It was small and there were a lot of people around. Under that circumstance, it was a courageous act that overcame the embarrassment and consciousness of the people around him for Zacchaeus to climb up the mulberry tree.

Our friends can also meet difficult things this week. However, like Zacchaeus, who climbed the sycamore tree to see Jesus every time, try to overcome it with courage and courage while thinking of Jesus. So let's enjoy the joy of meeting Jesus in our lives. The teacher will also pray that you will always be with Jesus throughout the week.
