Title: To Please God

Contents

God has given the world faith.

The faith God has given to the world is guaranteed by God, and because it has great power and power, it is the driving force that makes people realize their dreams.

Human beliefs are limited by reason and circumstances, but God-given faith is not without power.

In faith, the promises of God are guaranteed, so not only does the impossible become possible in human life, but it also has great powers to make the things that are not there, make the little things a lot, and to raise the dead.

Jesus, who came into the world as the Son of God, urges people to possess this faith, but there are some people in the world who are pleased with God because they have the faith God has given to the world. There are people who do not have the faith that God has given to them through faith and will live the wrath of God.

Jesus, whom God sent into the world, has the authority to remove the impossible from people's lives.

Since God is the Word and Spirit in its essence, no one can see or meet God, but there is one who came from the bosom of the only-begotten God, and that is Jesus.

Therefore, those who have seen Jesus have seen the Father, and those who have heard the voice of Jesus hear the voice of God, and those who believe in the works of Jesus believe the works of God.

There are many types of faith in the world, but what kind of faith is God looking for in the world?

The goal is to find those who will receive God's love and those who have faith in Jesus.

After God has shown His love for mankind through His Son, He is looking for people who will have the joy He gives by believing in His Son. is.

That is why Jesus said that if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you will please God.

The faith God has given to the world is

He says that since it is about letting go of the world’s deep learning and life experiences that have supported us so far and living humbly with God’s help, even with a small faith the size of a mustard seed, we will move the impossibly large mountain that was established long ago .

In fact, it may not be easy to lay down the experience and knowledge of the world so far and accept God as the master in your heart. Please believe that God will bless you.

Jesus, the Son of God, who came to give faith to the world is the way for sinners to come to God, the truth to know God, and the faith of those who want to live the life of God.

Even before Jesus came into the world, there was faith in the world.

Human beings are spiritual creatures created in the image and likeness of God, and each of us has faith.

Since the belief that is the same as human instinct is to make one's life better, everyone lives with a belief that depends on what they consider to be the best.

However, since human instinct-like belief is human effort, human philosophy, and human will, this faith can never please God.

What is the first question in the Christian short story Q&A (small and important doctrines)?

“What do we live for?” is the question.

The answer, he said, is to glorify God by pleasing Him.

Then, “How can I please God?” This is probably one of the problems that all Christians struggle with.

It is a clear fact that we must first please God in order to receive many blessings and grace from God in our life of faith.

Even if we keep the Lord's Day, attend worship services, and fulfill our duties as saints, if we do not have faith that pleases God, our wishes cannot be answered.

The apostle Paul, who wrote today's text, also said to the church members of the place of worship

Verse 10 - “Test what pleases the Lord.” In speaking, God's people are admonished to live a life that pleases God just as children try to please their parents.

Just as children with parents who receive a normal education and have a normal personality do not intentionally disobey their parents or try to annoy their parents, the saints also know that they are loved by God and are living with God's unconditional help. An enlightened person will not commit the sin of deliberately disobeying God's Word or consuming the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

Then, as in verse 10, “How to please God?”

1. We must become imitators of God (verse 1).

Paul said in Philippians 2:5- “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.” He said, “The heart that God’s children should have is a humble heart like Jesus.” said.

Each person's mind may be different because the environment they grew up in and the education they received are different.

But, what is the first heart of Paul that pleases God?

“A humble heart to show love for the weak, like Jesus.” Says.

In John 3, when Nicodemus, a ruler of Judea, comes to Jesus and asks how he can be saved and please God, Jesus gives up the science and philosophy of the world that have supported him and has a new heart. recommends.

What does it mean to have the heart of Jesus and become imitators of God?

It is like Abraham, who became the father of faith, when he heard the word of God, he began to have affection for the kingdom of God from his attachment to the homeland, his relatives, and his father's house.

He who tames himself with the mind of the flesh,

In the end, he leads himself on the road to death, but

If you have the heart of God, God the Holy Spirit will lead you to the path of life and peace.

As the words of Romans 1:28 and below, the heart of a person who does not have God is, “They do not want to have God in their heart, they do not want to have God in their hearts, and they are not afraid of injustice, ugliness, greed, malice, envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice, gossip, slander, slander, Pride, pride, evil-doing, disobedience to parents, breaking contract, heartless, ruthless heart.

However, believe that the heart that God gives us is a heart that has life and peace, and I hope you will give joy to God by imitating God, who is Jesus.

What is the faith that pleases God? Believe that it is turning away from the fleshly thoughts, and overcome the fleshly thoughts with the word of God and please God.

2. We can please God only if we live with love.

Verse 1 - “Walk in love as Christ loved you.”

There are four types of love. (Ah-God, su-parent, Phil-friendship, eros-reason)

However, there are two ways to love, namely, love to receive and love to give.

What kind of love does God require of us today?

He demands love given to those who have experienced the love they receive right away.

Christianity started from the essence of love. After God's disobedience, God gave His most beloved Son to die for mankind in the place of the Lamb for the people who lived as the prodigal son and suffered through various trials and tribulations in the place of the Lamb. will be

We were dead in our sins and trespasses, and by nature we were sinful beings that had no choice but to live for the wrath of God, but because of God's love for sinners, we received the assurance of God the Holy Spirit along with the authority of children to call God Father. That's why we need to share the love we have received.

It is easy to receive love, but it is not easy to share and do it.

Love that is expressed in a state of greed or in a state where the heart has not been completely circumcised by the word of God requires a reward and demands praise. can.

I want to love the person who loves me, but I don't want to love the person who hates me.

We hate me because we love my soul, and please God because we have the faith to love those who do not love me.

3. We must live the life of the light that sets the example.

Verses 8-9, “You were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light, for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth.”

Just as a tree can be known by its fruit, the saints must live a good and righteous life because they are the fruits of light and salt (John 8:12).

People around us who do not believe in Jesus watch how we live.

Even though they do not live good and righteous lives, they know that God's children must live righteously and kindly, and if we do not live in that way, they persecute and insult us.

The person we should imitate in the New Testament is the life of Cornelius, a centurion of the Italian army.

Although he is a foreigner, he is praised by many people around him for giving alms while his entire family fears God and practices love for his neighbor.

What is a good and righteous life according to the Bible?

Not extorting other people's things, not living according to the counsel of the wicked, not standing in the way of sinners, fearing the Word of God and living according to it.

Among the ten commandments that God has given, commandments 1-5 are about the relationship with God, while commandments 5-10 are the lives of those who have been given light to the people who have neighbors and who have been given them.

Because our society is a community life, it is not a life that I can live alone.

People may be able to hide and deceive that they are children of God, but the eyes of God remember that we cannot hide it in any way, and to please God, we practice love with the heart of Jesus, I wish you a happy life.
