Title: Total Faith

full faith

(2007.02.04.week) (Numbers 14:22~24)

It was winter in January, so it was very cold, wasn't it? - Let's give thanks to God for protecting us from the cold without any problems.

And today is already the beginning of spring - the season of the beginning of spring. - The warm season is coming back soon.

Even if your body and mind were even a little crooked, I pray that you will now stretch out and get new strength as you prepare to swing.

The God who loves us always loves us who are His children and loves to give us hope and blessings.

I pray that you will receive abundantly all the blessings that God has prepared for you this year as well.

1. Believe that you will be blessed.

After overcoming slavery in Egypt like a dark night, and after a year of living in the wilderness, God reminded the Israelites of the blessing He had promised them long ago.

*650 years ago, he had promised Abraham that he would give the land of Canaan (Genesis 12:7).

*Even when he was suffering in Egypt - Now he promised again that he would take him to Canaan (Exodus 3:8)

*One year after they came out of Egypt, and next year - they are going to go into Canaan, and they tell you to come and visit them - (Numbers 13:2) - read (Numbers 13:2) - "Send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel. .......” - This is the promise that the time to enter Canaan is near.

No matter how great the hardships of the past, the time to receive the blessing is near, so prepare to receive the blessing.

Our God loves His chosen people very much.

He has already planned and promised to bless the chosen people.

He continues to give the blessing he promised to Abraham and his descendants - even now, to his chosen people.

The God who told us to prepare to enter Canaan - today also tells us to prepare to receive the promise. He tells us to prepare to receive the blessings that God has given us. - I pray that you believe and prepare to receive blessings.

2. People who lack faith.

What kind of blessings is God preparing for His people?

(Exodus 3:8) - “I went down and rescued them from the hand of the Egyptians, and I brought them out of that land, a beautiful and vast land, a land flowing with milk and honey - the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, and the Hivites. , to the land of the Jebusites.” - I will lead you to a beautiful place~, a wide place~, a rich and fertile place~ - Amen !!!!!!

If you believe, obey, and follow, you will receive that blessing. - What is important is whether you have enough faith.

God commands Moses to finally give the blessing that has already been promised.

(Numbers 13:2)-“Send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel...” Upon hearing this, Moses was excited to select 12 spies and send them out.

But most of the spies were people who did not really believe in God's promises. Naturally, they did not live up to Moses' expectations. Great confusion arose when they lacked faith.

① Faithless agitators.

(13:31) - "The men who went up with him said, "We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than us." - How foolish is this? How unbelievable is this? - God has promised to provide the place consistently since 650 years ago. Now it's time to go in, and he told me to come and check it out one last time - but those without faith didn't even believe God's promises. - They are stronger than us, so we cannot defeat them. I can't even get in - how stupid are you?

Unbelieving people were so good at instigating others that they even stole the hearts of all the people.

② Stupid followers.

Even if there are people who do not have faith around you, you should have pity on them and keep your faith well.

However, foolish people quickly turn to disbelievers, and disbelief spreads.

They are the ones who complained along with the strangers living in the mix (Numbers 11:4). - Same again this time.

(14:2)-“All the children of Israel grumbled against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them, We wish we had died in the land of Egypt or in the wilderness” (14:4)-“Then they said to each other, We Let's set up a commander and go back to Egypt." - That's foolish. - If you do not have faith, you cannot believe in God's promises. They say they will not be guided by a leader. I will appoint a leader who can disobey God.

What would happen to such unbelievers?

*The unbelieving agitators were immediately killed by a disaster (14:37).

*None of the people who knew nothing, complaining openly and following the instigator, did not enter the blessed land of Canaan. They let only the suffering die, but they all died in the wilderness (14:22-23)

Dear saints, no matter how much blessings are given, those who do not believe will not receive those blessings. Get rid of unbelief, get rid of complaints.

3. If you believe completely, you will be blessed.

Those who have perfect faith will receive full blessings. Of the 12, only two - Joshua and Caleb were men of complete faith.

*Let's all read aloud (14:6-9) -“Joshua the son of Nun, of those who spies out the land .........” Amen!

*The land is very beautiful (14:7) *The land will be given to us (14:8) - I fully believed.

We, too, must believe all the promises in the Bible. I pray that you will have complete faith.

① You will receive the promised blessing.

No matter how many people have not believed the word, God's word will eventually come true.

(14:24) - “But my servant Caleb has a different heart and has followed me completely; I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will possess it” - Amen !!

(14:38)-“Among those who went to search the land, only Joshua the son of Nun and Caleb the son of Jephunneh survived” -Amen!!

*Those who did not believe could not receive this blessing - but Caleb and Joshua, who fully believed, lived for a long time and received the blessing of entering the promised land of Canaan.

②I will give you an overflowing hallway.

God does not only give promised blessings to those who fully believe in Him, but He also gives abundant blessings.

*He gave them the blessing of becoming rich - After they conquered the land of Canaan, he divided the land one by one to each tribe. However, Joshua and Caleb each received one share separately (Joshua 14:14-Caleb, Joshua 20:50-Joshua) - I pray that you too believe well and become rich.

*He gave the descendants a corridor - There was a period of time when the judges ruled before the establishment of a king in Israel - The first judge was Caleb's son-in-law Othniel (Judges 3:9) - I pray that all of you believe well so that your descendants will also be blessed. .

4. I have a message for you.

God loves to bless you - who will receive it? Today's text teaches us the secret to receiving that blessing in a simple word.

(Read text 14:24 aloud) - “But my servant Caleb has a different heart and has followed me completely; I will bring him into the land he went to, and his descendants will possess it” - Amen !!

Complete faith will receive complete blessings. I pray again and again that you will receive complete blessings with complete faith.
