Title: Training in the wilderness

Contents

When God uses people, he doesn't just use them. You must pass through the school in the wilderness. The contents of the wilderness are different, but the people God uses are supposed to pass through the wilderness. When you meet God in the wilderness, your personality is refined and your character is formed properly, and you become a person who can fully carry out God's work. So, it is clear that the wilderness is the grace of God. Moses was a man whose 40 years had passed in vain at the time of life's flowering. However, he changed into a man of God and became a man of miracles and power. What does God require in this wilderness?

First, God uses people whose inner man has been changed through the wilderness.

Through the wilderness of life, what God wants is for our inner man to change. Moses' identity and life position have changed significantly over the past 40 years, but the more fundamental change lies in Moses himself becoming a changed person. As he passed through the wilderness, Moses learned humility and became a meek man. His inner person, not his outer shell, has changed. Through Moses, who was transformed into a man of God, God changed the Israeli community. Through this change, Moses accomplished the change of Israel. In the end, what we must look at and pursue in the wilderness of life and the wilderness of faith is the change of our inner man. So I have to hold on to you to change me. I must earnestly ask that I see my soul and ask that I stand before God in a changed form.

Second, God strengthens us through the wilderness.

The wilderness is not a place for natural help. Deuteronomy 8:15 “He brought you through that vast and dangerous wilderness, a dry land where there were fiery serpents and scorpions, and where there was no water; and he brought up water for you out of the hard rock.” The wilderness is a place without water. It is a dry land with no water. The wilderness is a dangerous land where life is threatened. Here they trained and strengthened. Sometimes life encounters failures and setbacks, but through those failures and setbacks, God rebuilds and strengthens our inner self before God.

Third, you can experience the presence of God in the wilderness.

The greatest blessing in the wilderness is to experience the presence of God. How difficult is it to listen to God's voice in the midst of the hectic daily life? If you are chased by life and you are busy with life, you will not be able to take on dwelling in God or hearing the word. However, when life experiences the wilderness, it first meets with our inner self and then with God. So, God chose the wilderness as a place to meet life. The wilderness is a mysterious place. The wilderness is a barren and lonely place, but paradoxically, he allowed us to experience the life of God there.

God's people passed through the wilderness. Hearing God's voice in the wilderness, he gained deep understanding in the wilderness. I met God in the wilderness, and I met myself. When you meet God and experience His presence, you will enjoy the grace of experiencing God's plan in your life. Today, I pray that you will turn your life toward the Lord and enjoy the grace you taste in the wilderness.
