title ; treasure in earthenware
Where can dads, moms and children go together? To the theater, to the mountains or the sea, to a relative's house! Perhaps once a month there is a possible household. Going together every week will be difficult. In addition, there aren't many movies in theaters to watch with your kids. So it's difficult. Mountains and seas cost a lot of money, so you can only think of it from a house with a lot of money, and it would be absurd to go to a relative's house whenever there is work.
So how much time do parents and children spend together at home? It is also very difficult. Because most of the time, the monster box called TV takes away the whole family's mind. As a result, there are very few opportunities for families to share the joy and joy of sharing and talking. These days, kids study with fewer sleepovers, so they don't even have time to see each other.
What do you earn money for? For whom do you work hard? People say it's for the children. They will study hard, finish their studies, and go to work. And I will get married, have children, and earn money hard for the children. The child will also work hard for and for the child, as did the grandfather and father.
No, then what do people live for? Let's ask this old question to people who live busy lives with no time to spend together with their families. What the heck is the result of living so busy that there is no time for family to be together for even an hour a week? I'm busy, so I don't have time to think about such things, so I hope that I can take a closer look.
No matter how hard you work with no days off, eating three meals a day is the same, and going empty-handed when you die is the same. Therefore, the fact that God instituted the Sabbath (Sunday) and allowed us to keep it is a blessing among great blessings and a gift among gifts.
When I was in Gimpo, I climbed the nearby Gyeyangsan Mountain. Before the trees were overgrown, I could look left and right, so it was easy to find my way. However, this time the forest was thick and it was very difficult to find the way. Still, when going up the mountain, it was less difficult because I only had to look at the summit, but it was not so when I came down. As I descended for a while, the road was in the opposite direction from the Gimpo I lived in. After looking back and climbing to the top for a while, we were able to find the way we had to go down. If we hadn't stopped for a moment and wondered if the path we were taking was the right one, we would have ended up on the other side of our destination.
That's right. Whether the path we are taking is the way to live or the way to die is something we need to look at from time to time. Also, I should be able to afford to reflect on whether what I am doing is the right thing to do or the wrong thing to do. So, if you are on the right path, you will have to step forward more vigorously, and if you are on the wrong path, you will have to correct it.
As such, it is a time to check our way, and the day ordained by God is the Sabbath.
How cool is that? Once a week, picture in your mind a couple and children coming to church with a Bible hymn next to them. The moment we come to church and sit side by side in prayer, singing, and worshiping reverently is the only time we can come to our senses. If we receive grace from the Word, it is a time to rejoice together.
As we listen to the Word together, our thoughts will be the same and our purpose in life will be the same. So, naturally, there will be peace in the home, and calm waves of joy and joy.
1. Because we do not know the Sunday right away, we cannot keep it right away.
However, there are people who cannot keep this good Sabbath with a happy heart. The Sabbath is a very good gift from God, but there are people who do not accept it with a happy heart and keep the Sabbath by eating mustard, crying as if they were forced to take bitter medicine that they could not eat. Keeping Sunday is a right, not a duty, but it seems that there are not only one or two people who keep it reluctantly because of the fear of being punished for not keeping it.
Those who do not have faith say that they do not have faith, and there are many people who do not keep the Sabbath completely, even those who know it.
Jesus said, ?쏷he Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.??That's right. The Sabbath is a precious and indispensable day for us humans. Just as the foundation stone is the most basic when building a house, the Sabbath is the basis of life.
The Sabbath is the starting point of life. Just as you will be disqualified if you run very hard and do not step on the starting point right away, no matter how hard you live, if you do not keep the Sabbath, the starting point of your life, you will have no choice but to live a life of disqualification.
As rest for the body, there is recreation. And as a rest for the mind, there is reading. Furthermore, there is faith as rest for the soul.
Rest is different from playing. The Sabbath is the day when you wash away the toxins you have worked for for six days and accumulate the strength to work for another six days. If we had been able to live on our own strength, faith would not have arisen on this earth. The source of life is in God. The power of life can only be obtained by coming to God.
If the car runs hard and runs out of oil, it cannot run any longer, but if you refuel at the gas station, you can run again with energy. Likewise, we humans, too, run to the Lord when we are weary and suffering from exhaustion after living hard. Moreover, the day on which the oil of life is regularly filled is the Sabbath.
The Sabbath makes the destination clear. Many people live a really busy life today. He works hard and does not have time to come to church, he works diligently and lives a hectic life, but he is living a foolish life of running hard without knowing where he is going.
If a person goes to Jecheon and goes to Danyang without eating, washing, or missing church, what about that person? Even if it was a little late, if I had asked people for directions, such a foolish result would not have happened.
The Sabbath is a life check day designed to prevent such foolish ways of living in advance. Cars are regularly inspected annually. This is to prevent accidents in advance.
In this way, God has ordained the Sabbath to lead us on the blessed path. However, people accepted this legally, so that it is not the Sabbath for man, but man toils for the Sabbath. In 2 Corinthians, the phrase ?쐃arthenware containing treasures??appears. The date of the Sabbath is like earthenware. The meaning of the Sabbath to us is precious.
2. God teaches us the true meaning of the Sabbath and gives us strength to keep it.
In fact, we humans, like earthenware, were crude and unsightly. Since God has put the precious gospel in this earthen vessel, how can we all bear it?
But God unconditionally loved us, who have no pretty appearance, and heard the gospel, and saved us from the path of death. How grateful we are. In addition to that, He gave us a blessed day called the Sabbath so that we can not only worship God our Father, but also receive spiritual food. Can we all praise God's grace?
If there was no Sabbath, I would spend my entire life not knowing where I was going, working to death without a day off, and then I would say, "Oh, it's useless!" It must have been a miserable life that had no choice but to die.
However, he gave us the Sabbath to take a day off after working hard for six days so that we can examine the past and reveal what is to come. What a beautiful, precious, and holy day it is. The Jews kept this day in a difficult way, how pitiful it is. Is there anyone among us who is having such a hard time keeping Sundays like this? Like a pearl to a pig, I hope I can see if I am not the one who does not know how precious the Sabbath is and is trampling on it.
The Sabbath is not only a true blessing for us, but it is a principle we must keep. Just as sleep is not useless and if you don't sleep you can't do anything the next day, so if you don't keep the Sabbath, you can't work hard for six days. And what a blessed time it would be if we could sleep sweetly, rather than having to have time to sleep.
As such, the Sabbath is a day that must be kept, and it is the happiest time of the week.
Dear saints,
I hope that you too can spend your Sunday as a happy and joyful day, a blessed and beautiful day.
3. Let's live a blessed life of keeping the Sunday with a happy heart
If we keep the Sabbath day right, we can live a life of value that is different from those of the world.
And when you tithe and do holy water on Sunday, you say, ?쏰h, that?셲 why you say Christianity is a living religion! realize that you do. When you reach the point where you can go to church on Sunday with a happy heart, you can feel the true taste of believing in Jesus. When you taste the taste, even if someone gives you money and tells you not to go to church, you will come to church to keep Sunday.
At this time, we receive infinite power from God. It's never because it's fanaticism. Faith in Jesus is the power that comes from serving. Confidence. That is why 2 Corinthians 4:8 says: ?쏻e are not crushed no matter how much we are crushed, we are not disappointed in despair, we are in a corner, but we have a way out, and we do not die even if we are hit and fall.??
Like earthenware, we were clunky, unattractive, and easily broken. However, since the treasure, the word of the Lord, is contained in this, it is an honor that is difficult to bear as an earthen vessel.
In addition, the gospel has given us infinite power to overcome any tribulation.
One of them is holy water on Sundays. Keeping Sunday is not an easy task. I don't know why there are so many things that prevent us from keeping Sundays.
However, it is not possible to keep the Sunday when you look back on this circumstance. Watch the Sunday right away. Leave the rest to God. Drink as you think and watch the week hard enough to feel regretful. It will be hard, swearing, and scolding for a while, but sooner or later you will experience a miracle, or an impossible miracle.
But don't keep Sunday as a formality. Welcome the Sunday with longing and waiting, and keep it with sincerity. At that time, you will be able to look at a world other than the world you judge with your head. If we look at that world, we will be able to overcome any hardships or tribulations we face in this world.
Hallelujah, victory is ours. In the world we are defeated, but in the Lord we are victorious. Being able to keep the Sunday itself is the greatest blessing, so we who keep the Sunday are victorious.
How beautiful is the Lord's Day? How desolate would have been if there had been no Sunday in our lives?
I hope that we can become wise people of God by not neglecting the holy water on Sunday, which is a privilege for those who believe in Jesus. I believe that God's great blessing will surely be with all of you who attended today's worship service.
I earnestly pray that your steps, who kept this Sunday, will be blessed steps, and that you will have a blessed and enjoyable week. ??
