Title: Treasure Map of the Soul
Exodus (109) The soul's treasure map (Exodus 37:1-29)
< What the apparatus in the sanctuary symbolizes >
There are many references to the tabernacle in the Bible. In Exodus alone, 13 chapters are full of the story of the tabernacle. This means that the message of the tabernacle is important. Chapters 25-31 and 35-40 are the records of the tabernacle in Exodus. Chapters 25-31 are the part where God instructed Moses on the contents and design of the tabernacle, and chapters 35-40 record the actual construction of the tabernacle. In addition, Leviticus 18, Numbers 13, and Deuteronomy 2 mention the tabernacle, and in Hebrews, the most Jewish book in the New Testament, a total of 4 chapters mention the tabernacle in detail.
As such, 50 chapters in the entire Bible contain the truth about the tabernacle. If there are 50 chapters about the tabernacle out of 1189 chapters in the entire Bible, how much is it? Considering that Matthew, the longest Gospel, has a total of 28 chapters and Genesis has a total of 50 chapters, we realize the importance of the tabernacle. The text records the work of making the ark of the covenant (verses 1-9), the table of bread (verses 10-16), the lampstand (verses 17-24), and the altar of incense (verses 25-29), which are the instruments in the sanctuary during the specific process of making the tabernacle. .
Each organ of the saints has its own symbolic meaning. First, the Ark of the Covenant symbolizes ‘God’s presence and promise’. The Ark of the Covenant is located in the Most Holy Place, which contains the two stone tablets of the Ten Commandments, symbolizing the Father, manna, symbolizing the Son, and the staff that sprouted Aaron, symbolizing the Holy Spirit. I did.
Second, the table of bread symbolizes 'Jesus, the bread of life'. Twelve fresh loaves were always placed on the table, and they were called showbread. Also, the rice cake table is a cubit and a half (67.5 centimeters) high, and is the lowest of all the important utensils in the tabernacle. So, I had to bend down and lower my posture to eat the bread, which means that unless we humbly receive the Word, the Word cannot be the food of the true soul.
Third, the lampstand symbolizes 'Jesus, the light'. As you enter the sanctuary, there is a table of bread on the right and a lampstand on the left. In the sanctuary without windows, the light of the lampstand was the only light to illuminate the interior of the sanctuary, and because of that light, the priests were able to work. It means that only Jesus is the true lamp that illuminates the way of life.
Fourth, the altar of incense symbolizes 'Jesus who intercedes'. When you pass the right rice cake lamp (the rice cake table on the right and the lampstand on the left), the altar of incense is placed in front of the veil covering the Holy and Most Holy. Incense had to be lit at all times on the altar of incense, and after all, one of the priests' important duties was to keep the incense on the altar.

As a royal priesthood, one of the most important things for the saints is to keep their prayers uninterrupted. The best relationship in a relationship is one in which we pray for each other. There is no greater cooperation and encouragement than praying for one another. If intercession is alive, any difficulties can be overcome, and any attacks from the devil are not intimidating. Rather, the devil is afraid and trembles.
Why does North Korea hate South Korea-US joint military exercises so much? Due to the nature of the Korean Peninsula, if a preemptive attack occurs, the damage is enormous, so if a North Korean plane takes off in the West Sea, the South Korean plane must take off immediately. Conversely, if a South Korean plane takes off, the North Korean plane must take off immediately. After all, if we mobilize planes and tanks for training, North Korea also has to mobilize planes and tanks, so North Korea, which lacks materials and fuel, goes crazy every time we train. Why is intercession important? This is because whenever the sound of the intercession of the saints is heard, the devil goes crazy.
The tabernacle is like a treasure map of the soul that shows the way to God's presence and blessing. Through the ark of the covenant, God promised the blessing of salvation and prosperity, through the table of bread, Jesus, who became the food of life, will feed our souls, and through the lampstand, Jesus, the true light, will lead us on the path of life. He promised that Jesus would intercede for us through the altar of incense and that He would also give us the power of intercession.
