Title: Treat others also (Matthew 7:1-12)
Contents
Verse 12 of the message given to us today says: “Therefore, in whatever way you would like others to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.”
A disciple of a famous rabbi came and asked the teacher.
"Teacher!
Briefly teach me all the law and the precepts of the prophets while I stand on one leg.
Then a famous teacher named Hillel thought for a moment and answered:
“Don’t go to other people and do what you don’t like.”
Plato, the Greek philosopher, also said that the simplest principle in human life is “Do not make others do what you do not want to do to yourself.”
That's it.
Confucius said something similar.
"己 (gi) cow, 不辱 (disgust), 勿施 (water poem) woman"
It means don't make others do things you don't want to do.
All of them seem similar to the teachings of Jesus.
But everyone else taught passively.
“Everyone should not do it”.
But Jesus taught very actively.
“Treat others first as you would like others to treat you.”
Of course, if you live passively, there will be no evil in this world.
However, the world Jesus wanted was not just a good and good world, but to build the sinless kingdom of God.
We humans have morals and conscience.
But yesterday, I read in the newspaper that a husband who was suffering from hypochondria had murdered his wife by forcing her to feed her with pesticides.
Why is this?
This is all because the conscience is broken.
Whoever takes drugs all the time Oh! Drugs, that's good! And if you give drugs to your children
Ah! Because I like alcohol the best no matter what!
So if I had to tell my wife to drink too,
still! No matter what anyone says, gambling is the best! I don't know that, so I do it! Doesn't this make sense?
There is someone I know.
A person who graduated from the best university in Korea and goes to church went to Las Vegas, USA, and fell into gambling and had fun.
It cannot be unfortunate.
Remember!
To treat others rightly, you must treat yourself rightly.
In order to become a noble person who knows how to treat others, I must first be able to judge correctly both religiously and conscientiously.
This is flattering!
He's a really weird guy.
It's clear that you're doing it without saliva in your mouth, but I don't hate hearing that!
But it is that it blinds the eyes of our judgment.
What about bribes?
Bribery is what destroys our character and blinds us.
So the bribe giver is worse than the bribe taker, but ah! But how do you do something good?
But bribes make society sick.
It puts us in a state of paralysis.
But what's even more frightening is that this sin does not happen overnight.
Over and over again, your conscience is burned with fire.
Therefore, be careful and I wish you a successful 2006 year against bribery.
When Abraham Lincoln was young, he went to a place called New Orleans.
It was a time when slaves were bought cheaply in Africa and sold expensively in America.
But young Lincoln saw this scene.
As a family, the mother is sold from one house to another, the father from that house to that house, and the children scattered all over the place.
if! If I'm in an adult position, should I act like them?
If I don't want to be like that, I have made a strong determination that if I want to make them free like me, I have to set them free.
We will never forget Dr. Albert Schweitzer, who built a hospital in Cameron, Africa, and dedicated his life to helping the poor and dying Africans.
This is the reason why he left a university professorship in Germany to start a new medical study, and he had his wife study nursing, so they went to work in Africa.
As Schweitzer is passing through the street, he sees a statue of him selling goods on a small pallet on the street.
The moment he saw this statue, countless black Africans came to his mind.
How many times have white people abused, oppressed, and exploited black people by using them as objects!
So Schweitzer thought that he had to treat African Americans even if he was alone, so he went to the jungles in Africa, the most difficult area, and built a hospital, established a school, and preached the gospel, ending the world there.
I think that this is in obedience to Jesus' teaching: "Treat others as you would like them to treat you."
Last time I lent World Vision the 5th floor of the Social Welfare Center.
It was so messy that I thought I would never rent it again.
But why do we have to keep doing this?
Think back to the time of the Korean War.
They had this kind of heart.
I don't suffer, but as if I was in trouble, I lost nothing, but as if I was taken away, people gathered to help me, and those with such thoughts were able to help others.
It is because of such people that we are what we are today.
However, seeing the welfare center get a little dirty, of course, it hurts my heart and it takes a lot of effort to clean, but I think that this is what we should do.
Do not forget it!
sick person!
People who feel pain can help others.
That's why we do hunger experience 24 hours a day. That's why I'm giving away a world mission donation.
He also said that our Jesus will repay you according to what you have done.
Not only did he say it, but Jesus showed it through his actions.
equally hungry,
You shed the same tears,
In the end, he carried the same cross.
How can I treat others?
It is to treat others, understand them, and sympathize with them by looking at their circumstances.
Everyone is everyone! make a mistake.
I make mistakes, and others make mistakes. Therefore, you should not see anything wrong. Buy this now.
How should a wife treat her husband to be happy?
How should a husband treat his wife?
How should I treat my friend?
How should mother-in-law treat labor relations, public officials and citizens, and political parties?
If only we could live like this, what a happy society we could be.
But why can't we live like that?
It's because I don't know how to treat others.
Dear Saints of Hope!
