Title: Treat others first (Acts 20:35)
Content Saints are beings who have been saved free of charge by God. It is through faith that believers are saved and received grace from God, not because they are prosperous or perfect. God forgives our family even though they are sinners, despite their ugliness, and despite their flaws, and has made them children.
Thinking about this, I can't help but be grateful. And we are compelled to show love to our neighbors. True happiness and joy do not lie in having, but in giving. A life of sharing is rather a blessed and meaningful life.
Jesus said, “Give, and it will be given to you; it will be given to you, pressed down, shaken, and overflowing, and given to you. Treat others as you do, for this is the law and the prophets.”
We can learn the four wisdoms of true life that God has revealed to the saints through these words. The first is the wisdom that we will be loved if we love God and our neighbor first. There are conflicts and sufferings on this earth because everyone thinks that they receive love first and only seeks to receive them first. Love is what I give first. When we give love to God first and then love to our neighbors, it will be enlarged 30 times, 60 times, and 100 times, and will come back to us.
The second is the wisdom that if we please God and our neighbors first, we will have abundant joy. Our family must first please God and please our neighbors. Unspeakable joy will arise when we keep God's commandments, praise God, and please our parents, our children, our wives, our husbands, our relatives, our neighbors.
The third is the wisdom that when we help God and our neighbors, great help will come. To help God means to devote ourselves to the expansion of the kingdom of heaven. Let's focus on expanding the kingdom of heaven. God will help us. Also, let's do our best to help our neighbors lead successful lives. You will be of great help.
The fourth is the wisdom that if we serve God, we will be served. God first exalts those who serve God and their neighbors.
Humans are born as slaves to covetousness from birth, and as they grow up, they are multiplying their egocentrism and selfishness. Because of this, sin, death, strife, and suffering continue to arise in this world. In this world, in order to achieve true happiness and success, we must first worship God and live for the success of our neighbors. To the world, this kind of life seems foolish. However, such a life is truly a wise life and a blessed life.
Prayer: Thank God for loving our family. Since our family has received God's love and grace, please share it with our neighbors and live. There was a time when we lived with greed and selfishness. Forgive us and lead us on the right path. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
