Title: True and False / (1 Samuel 2:10-12)
Content In this world, there is truth and lies, and there is evil and good. After Jesus told his disciples the Beatitudes on the mountain, he went to Matthew 13 and spoke about the kingdom of heaven. Through the seven parables and the parable of the sower, the roadside, the rocky field, the thorns, and the seed sown in the soil. you said there is.
Jesus told the parable of the sower, saying that when you sow good seeds in a field, tares will come out. He spoke of mustard seeds, He spoke of yeast, and He spoke of various parables such as treasures, pearls, and fish of the sea. The fields coming out of this place are farmers, and treasurers are merchants. The fish of the sea are fishermen. Jesus gives an in-depth explanation of the kingdom of heaven to various people such as farmers, merchants, and fishermen.
When Jesus gave the parable of the kingdom of heaven, he classified them into two types of people. In this world, there are people who will go to heaven, and there are people who cannot go to heaven. There are people who are sincere, there are people who lie, there are people who are positive, and people who are negative. There are people who are thankful and people who complain. There are believers and there are false believers. And, if there is wheat, there is also chaff.
Through this parable, Jesus tells the type of the true believer and the type of the false believer. It can be distinguished that the type of a true believer is a person like Samuel, and the type of a false believer is a person like Hophni and Phinehas. So, who is Samuel? Samuel has always been a God-centered man.
But Hophni and Phinehas were self-centered. Whose center are we living today? I hope that you do not live in your own heart, but become a person that is centered on God. "Beloved, I beseech you that in all things go well with you and may you be in good health, as your soul prospers" (3 John 1:2) "Do not be afraid, I will be with you. Do not be dismayed. I am your God. I will strengthen you. .Yeah I will help you, yea, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." (Isaiah 41:10) In this way, God helps those whose hearts are centered on God. Then, how can we live a God-centered life of faith?
First, be thorough in your service life.
1 Samuel 2:11 says, "Elkanah returned to her house from Ramah, and the child served the Lord before Eli the priest." Samuel served the Lord before Eli the priest.
Jesus said, "The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many." (Mark 10:45) He said. The life of faith is, in a word, service. Who do you serve? To serve Almighty God, to serve the church, and to serve the people of Us. Just as Samuel served God in the priest's house from a young age, I pray in the name of the Lord that the young children of our Sunwon Full Gospel Church members will teach them to serve God well from an early age.
Second, we must have spiritual communication with God in order to live a God-centered life of faith.
1 Samuel 3:1 says, "When the child Samuel was serving the Lord before Eli, the word of the Lord was rare, and visions were not seen often." Even today, even though many people are in the Bible, how many people have gone astray because of their dreams too much? Even if you have a dream, look into the Bible, even if you see a vision, look into the Bible, and if there are no events in the Bible at all, please go away, Satan.
Even if we have a dream, we must have a dream in a state that should be the foundation of God's Word. Therefore, I hope that our members will receive the fullness of grace and open their spiritual eyes. “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” (Matthew 5:8) We pray in the name of the Lord that we will open our spiritual eyes and become spiritual people who change the age of 21.
Finally, there must be faith to worship.
I want you to be a worshiper. Let's fear God. We need to get rid of our hard hearts and fear the Lord with a tender heart. "God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth." (John 4:24) The church is a place to worship, teach, and learn from God. Therefore, we must worship, teach, and learn from God with humility. In addition, each of us must do our best to serve in a service organization.
We bless you in the name of the Lord that you believe that God will respond to you when you worship God with a heart of service, a heart of service, and a spiritual and spiritual sense.
