Title: True Brotherhood Love
Content Title: True Brotherhood Love
Bible: Romans 9:1-5
June is the month of national protection. In memory of the many martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the sake of their country and people, let's pray for grace together at this time with the word of true love for our fellow countrymen.
Throughout his life, Paul has been traveling with people across national borders and nationalities, but his love for his people has never changed. However, in order for this nation to truly become one and prosper in freedom and peace, above all, as Christians, we must fulfill our duties before God with a heart of patriotism. If so, what are the obligations that Christians have to perform before God in "patriotism and patriotism"?
First, we pray for our country and people.
Second, it is to spread the word of God to the people.
Third, to become a person of love.
There is no one in this world who does not want to enjoy a blessed life. However, many people do not know that the secret to making their own lives more blessed is to let others enjoy a blessed life rather than to enjoy a blessed life for themselves. However, Paul had a earnest heart to help his people, the people of Israel, enjoy a blessed life before God. This heart was moved by the Holy Spirit beyond the level of simple brotherhood or national spirit, and it was a heart of great love thanks to God's supreme love.
First, you must have a heart of concern.
Second, there must be an act of sacrifice.
Love demands sacrifice. Even when asking for sacrifice, it is not a sacrifice by coercion or coercion, but a sacrifice that comes from the joy of one's own heart. "Sacrifice" means putting oneself in a position to be harmed.
And love does not regard sacrificing for the sake of the loved one as a sacrifice, but rather brings great joy and satisfaction from that sacrifice. If we truly love this country and people, we must not love only with our hearts. Also, you can't just love with words. As evidence of love, there must be an act of sacrifice. A true sacrifice is not expecting the price of the sacrifice. Because sacrifice is not for oneself, but for others. The only true sacrifice is the sacrifice of the cross.
Third, we must testify to the truth.
Because Paul loved the nation of Israel, he confessed, "I tell the truth in Christ and do not lie" (Romans 9:1). If you have a heart of true love, you are not afraid of being persecuted. However, if you do not have a loving heart, you are not sadly worried about going wrong, nor do you urge awakening about being angry.
So what is "truth"?
For those of us who have been born again and become children of God by believing in Jesus Christ as Savior in God's love, the only truth is "Jesus Christ." As the saying goes, "I am the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6). To say “the truth” is to testify of Jesus Christ. If we truly love this country and people, we must tell the truth, not lies. We must testify of Jesus Christ, who is the truth.
We should worry about the future of our neighbors and brothers, our country and our people. And there must be an act of sacrifice, and we must bear witness to the truth. Let's pray for our neighbors and brothers, our country and our people.
