Title: True Faith (Hebrews 11:11-12)
Adolescence is the most hopeful and most dangerous period. This period from childhood to adulthood is a time of rapid growth physically, mentally, and socially, and there are many struggles in the midst of various conflicts. Among them, the problem of faith is even more serious. Adolescence is a time of many meetings. It is also a time when all of the things we have believed in since we were young are shaken violently in the face of a storm of doubt. To exclude skepticism from the faith is to forsake integrity in the pursuit of truth. However, if you leave your doubts unattended and go out, you will face a crisis in which you will not be able to maintain your faith. Let's consider a few things here.
4. True faith is a life-threatening faith. Faith that is firmly established by doubt and faith will be preserved at the risk of life.
(1) Faith is obedience risking life. Those with firm faith only have “yes” to the words of God. Peter simply said “yes” to the Lord’s command to go into the depths and cast his net. Relying on the word, they lowered their nets and caught many fish. He showed his faith by simple obedience without relying on his own abilities. Faith is obedience at the risk of life.
