Title: True faith has life in it
Contents Today I would like to talk about faith. Among the biblical figures, the characteristic of people of faith who had an influence in the time is that they clearly knew and believed in the God who is the object of their faith. The Bible describes faith in two ways: ‘living faith’ and ‘dead faith’.
So, what are the characteristics of living faith?
1. Let's do it together.
Those who have a living faith have the faith to live for everyone, not just for themselves.
The church is the body of Christ, and the saints are members of Christ. Just as it is said that our bodies are all precious and that any part of the body hurts if any part of it hurts, even among the saints, when any one of us is in trouble, it is our own difficulties, and those who help those in need are those who have living faith. We are people who need to love each other and live with a sense of community.
The Lord teaches us that God rules the world. So God works not only through those who believe in God, but also through those who do not. Therefore, we must love everyone and believe that God works for everyone, and we must comfort, love, encourage, and live with each other.
This is a saint with living faith.
2. Show.
Verse 18 tells us to show our faith. Whether it is a living faith or a dead faith, it cannot be hidden and is made visible. Therefore, we must show a living faith. The Lord has told us to be the salt and light of the world (Matthew 5:13-14). This means to be a life of influence. So, just as light can enlighten the world, so we must show, not hide, that we are Christians.
3. I have a different mind.
As the Italian writer Fabini said, "The problem of man is a matter of the mind." When a person's heart changes his behavior, when his behavior changes, his habits change, when his habits begin to change, his character begins to change, and when his character changes, his destiny changes.
If you believe in God, you must believe that God rules the world, and you must be filled with the teachings of God, the Spirit of God, and the kingdom of God.
