Title: True Friends
Content Introduction
1. A friend who can help. (Verses 3, 4)
A deep friendship matures when each other tries to meet the needs of the other rather than their own. If you make friends with the thought, “What can this friend do for me?” you will not only be disappointed, but your friendship will start to crack. Conversely, if you make friends while thinking, “What can I do for this friend?” beautiful flowers of friendship will bloom. The four friends appearing today must have been thinking about what to do and how to help a friend who cannot move due to paralysis. And when they heard about Jesus, they must have thought that they should take him and let him meet him. I believe that the four friends who spare no time and effort to meet the needs of a friend who was suffering from paralysis are true friends.
2. Be a wise friend. (Verse 4)
3. We must become friends of faith. (Verse 5)
conclusion
Only Jesus is our true friend. I want you to believe in Jesus as your true friend. So, I hope to become a friend who can help, a wise friend, and a friend of faith. Because if Jesus is not the center in all relationships, it will be broken. Do you have any of these friends? I want you to make these friends. Furthermore, can you call yourself a true friend? I cannot make true friends unless I first become true friends. Therefore, I hope that we can believe in Jesus who died on the cross for our sins to be our true friend. Jesus is your true friend.
