Title: True Leaders and False Leaders

Contents

1 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever enters the sheepfold by the door but does not enter is a thief and a robber; 2 The one who enters through the door is the shepherd of the sheep. 3 The gatekeeper opens the door for him, and the sheep hear his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4 After all his sheep are laid out, they go ahead and follow them because they know his voice, 5 but because they do not know the voice of others, they do not follow others, but run away. 6 Jesus told this parable 7 But Jesus said to them again, "Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the gate of the sheep. 8 All who came before me are thieves and robbers, and the sheep did not listen." 9 I am the door, and anyone who enters through me will be saved, and will come in and go out and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to steal and to kill and to destroy;

1. Words that begin

It is truly unfortunate that, despite the weighty roles and responsibilities of all leaders, there are many who become leaders because of their lust for success, lust for money, and fame. Due to the incompetence, hypocrisy, and corruption of some high-ranking officials, taking interest, embezzling public money, and taking bribes, the people of the country do not stop groaning. There were even cases of prosecution.

Jesus told the parable of the sheepfold to teach the importance of leadership.

2. False Leaders

Regarding false leaders, Jesus emphasized and emphasized, “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever does not enter the sheepfold by the door but goes through another way is a thief and a robber.”

First, there is no other way of salvation other than Jesus, who came after God's promise of salvation. The leaders of Judaism and other religions who offer other ways of salvation, or self-proclaimed saviors, are thieves, robbers, and murderers who steal everything in life and eternal life. Anyone who insists on a way of salvation other than Jesus leads people to destruction. Jesus revealed that any religious act, including acts of the law, acts of conscience, or self-proclaimed saviors are not the door of salvation, but that he is the only gate of salvation.

Second, the shepherd who does not enter through the door of the sheepfold is a false leader, a thief and a robber. Just as a shepherd naturally walks in and out of our door, even a leader in any field has a certain level of walking that he or she has to walk.

Just as the character of each field is different, the degree of leaders in each field is inevitably different. Put simply, the degree to which a business leader must walk is different from, and must be, the level a philanthropic leader must walk. The degree to which the president has to walk is different, the degree that an ideological or ideological leader has to walk is different, the degree that a religious leader has to walk is different, and the degree that a leader of athletes has to walk is different.

If business leaders behave the same as philanthropic leaders do, the business will eventually fail, leaving dozens to hundreds of thousands of office workers and their families living in poverty for the rest of their lives. If the president of any country, who should be a leader who serves all the people, acts like a coach who guides his players to victory, not only will the country's peace and order be disrupted, but there will also be chaos, conflict, and chaos.

A shepherd usually enters and exits the pen with the sheep through the door, but if there is a person who crosses the fence without entering through the door, he is a leader, but in fact, he is a thief and a robber.

Years ago, there was a time when the country was noisy when a crime was uncovered where a leader who played in the lobby of a beautiful woman naked and squandered the country's money. At that time, a clairvoyant user wrote in an article titled 'A country where lobbying ends when a beautiful woman is presented', saying, "Don't make a fuss by saying, "Only weak people are reserve army education and security education, and inspire security education or patriotism from high-ranking officials." We need to re-educate people who can do it,” and was welcomed by netizens. In addition, one Hitel user said, “The tax collected through the blood and sweat of the people is wasted by the poor, dirty, and obscene politics.” He said, “The current deputy mayor who received bribes from the Chinese socialist regime was publicly executed, and the morality and integrity of the officials were strictly enforced. You will have to imitate the efforts to establish

In recent years, the country has been noisy with the bribery of some judges, prosecutors and lawyers. Deuteronomy 16:19 says, "You shall not be judging, and do not judge others by appearance, nor take a bribe, for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise and perverts the speech of the righteous."

At all times, people are thrown into chaos, stressed, and even ruined by false leaders who pretend to be clean, embezzling public money or country money for pleasure, benefit, or honor.

3. True Leaders

Jesus said, “He that enters through the door is the shepherd of the sheep.” The gospel ministers who work through the Savior Jesus, who is the door of the sheepfold, are the true shepherds of the people.

First, the true shepherd is, above all, a leader who knows that Jesus is the only Savior and works according to His will. The true shepherd is the leader who knows and teaches that Jesus is the door to the sheepfold, and all those who enter through that gate will be saved, and that they will receive the food of life through Jesus, the gate of salvation. A true shepherd is not a leader who makes people believe and follow Him, but a leader who makes people believe and follow Jesus the Savior. A true shepherd is a leader who instills the gospel of Jesus Christ, not instilling knowledge or experiences that are unrelated to the gospel. I hope that all of us who have been saved by believing in the Savior Jesus may receive abundant life by focusing on prayer and the Word.

Second, a true shepherd is a leader who speaks, acts, and works in the Lord Jesus, not in himself, in his superiors or in his followers. As for the degree to which the ministers of the gospel must walk, Peter said, “Shepherd the flock of God among you, not under compulsion, but voluntarily, according to the will of God, not for the unclean, but with a cheerful will, and with those who are entrusted Don't be a claimant, but be an example to the flock.” 1 Peter 5:2-3.

The level of clergy that Peter spoke of is also the basic level to which all leaders in the world must walk. First of all, leaders must understand that those entrusted to them are not objects of their own choosing, but God's creations. Next, we must lead, not out of necessity, but voluntarily according to God's will. Next, do not do it for an unclean person, but do it with a joyful will. Finally, do not insist on those entrusted to you, but only be an example to the flock.

Third, a true shepherd is a leader who works not for himself, but for those whom God has entrusted to him. A true shepherd is a leader who regards people as objects to be responsible for, caring for, and serving before God, not as objects that they can claim as they please. He knows those entrusted to him well, so they hear his voice and follow him wherever he goes instead of running away. In verse 3 and below, the gatekeeper opens the door for the shepherd, and the shepherd calls out each of his sheep by name and leads them, and the sheep follow the shepherd because they know the voice of the shepherd.

Fourth, the true shepherd is a leader who works for the glory of God, not for gain or honor. 1 Corinthians 10:31 says, “Therefore, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”

Michelangelo (1475-1564), at the age of 14, visited Botoldo and begged to be his pupil. Confirming Michelangelo's incredible talent, Botoldo asked him. “What do you think it takes to be a great sculptor?” Michelangelo replied, “I think I need to hone my talents and skills.” Then Botoldo said, “It’s not just technology. You first have to decide clearly what you are going to use your skills for.”

Then I took him out and visited the bar. Michelangelo said, “Master, there is a beautiful sculpture at the entrance of the tavern.” Then Botoldo said, "This sculpture is beautiful, but this sculptor was made for a bar." Also, he took Michelangelo to the great cathedral to show him a beautiful statue. “Which one do you like, this beautiful statue of an angel or that beautiful statue at the entrance of the bar you saw a while ago?” he asked, “They are equally beautiful, but one is made for the glory of God, and the other It's made for drunken people. What do you want to use your skills and talents for?” At that time, the boy Michelangelo replied, “I will write for God, for God, for God!”

4. Conclusion

May all of us believe in the one and only Lord Jesus, and glorify God by speaking, acting, and working for those entrusted to us in the Lord as people who follow His will.
