Title: True Light Jesus/John 1:9-14
Content I. Light of Life (9-11)
Jesus came as the light of the world. This light is the light that came to give life to the world. Therefore, we cannot live without the life of Jesus Christ, who is the light.
Jesus, who came as the light of life, has an individual interest in each person. He cares about each and every person, regardless of what kind of person he or she is regardless of status, education, social honor, or wealth.
But when this Jesus Christ came into the world, people did not know and did not receive him. Nevertheless, He gave life to those who received Jesus as Savior, those who believed in His name, so that they could become children of God.
II. Light of power (12-13)
Even though he came into the world as the Savior, Jesus was not welcomed. Despite being despised and rejected by people, suffering many hardships, and not being valued by people, Jesus Christ loved us and loves us with infinite love.
As a result, the Lord who died for all our sins and transgressions and rose again to accomplish the work of true life for us has given us God's authority to rule as His children.
Therefore, we, who became children of God because of Jesus, must live a life of power and victory with him.
Ⅲ. light of glory(14)
I thought it was all over when Jesus died on the cross. But he has risen and now works as a light of glory that illuminates the whole world.
He has become the light of the fullness of life that cannot be lived without that light in the whole world. It is impossible without it, and He works with the light of His power to make all things come alive and make things happen. Even today, on those who have accepted Jesus Christ, he is exercising the power to move from death to life and from curse to glory.
Therefore, if you become a true disciple of Jesus, you can enjoy the blessing of sharing in the glory of God.
