Title: True Repentance 30. hwp
In spite of God's abundant love and grace, those who do not repent will never be forgiven of their sins.
However, forgiveness and blessings are given to those who repent no matter what circumstances and circumstances they are in. Then, what are the right principles and elements of such ‘repentance’?
1. Realization of one's sins (1).
The first element of repentance is the awareness of sin. Repentance begins only when you realize how deeply sinful you are and what kind of punishment you are under as a result.
Without a serious awareness of sin, neither the Lord nor the Lord needs God's grace, nor does he feel the need for repentance.
2. Recognize your sins and return to God (Ph.2).
The second element of repentance is to stand humbly before God while always confessing your sins with your mouth. Just as “believing with the heart and confessing with the mouth is the way to salvation”. Through a concrete confession of sins, the grace of forgiveness is reached. Even if someone has realized sin in their heart. If you do not acknowledge (confess) your sins and have the specific elements of returning to God, you are not truly repenting.
3. Living a new life (2a).
The third element of repentance is to start a new life according to the word of God with all your heart and soul. Yeseo If there is no clearing of character and life and no position for a new life, it is certainly not complete repentance.
Repentance is by no means a solution. Repeating sins under the pretext of repentance and God's forgiveness is unacceptable blasphemy. It is the right attitude to never commit a sin once repented of.
God's word is.....
No matter how noble a truth or a profound philosophy, it is of no use if it is not at all understood by those who receive it. However, the Word of God is nobler and more profound than any philosophy in the world. There is no difficulty in accepting it by all humans.
1. The Word of God is not difficult.
When we read the Bible, there are often things we don't understand. Even if there are some fortunes that are burdensome to keep as they are, it is not because the words of God themselves are difficult. Because our hearts are darkened and our hands and feet are lazy.
The word of God is never difficult or overwhelming for us. The word of God is not difficult at all for those with a willing heart to obey.
2. The Word of God is not far away.
The Word of God is not overly ambiguous and abstract like any philosophy. It is not a sweet fantasy of an outside world, nor is it a metaphysics irrelevant to our reality. It is a very specific word that gives eternal and absolute principles and methods to our lives. Therefore, it is a truth that guarantees life and blessings as long as we follow it as it is.
3. The word of God is not outside the sky or the sea.
It is not a story about impossible things, like picking the stars in the sky and swimming to the end of the sea.
These are the words that are always by our side, suggesting the way of life, and bringing comfort and hope. The Bible is God's revelation about creation and human history, not myths and legends that make us unfamiliar and bewildered.
