Title: True Salvation and False Salvation
Contents
Those who have been truly saved will love everyone as the Lord has loved me. However, those who have received false salvation receive the love that the Lord loved me, but I do not love everyone.
Therefore, true salvation does not consist in the forgiveness of sins, but in loving everyone as the Lord loves me. As it is written, “We know that we have passed from death into life because we love our brother; but he who does not love remains in death” (1 John 3:14). As the Lord said, "...you are all brothers" (Matthew 23:8), all people in the world are brothers. Therefore, God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son.
The grace of God that brings salvation to all through Christ Jesus is so that we may be conformed to the image of His Son. God works with this wish. Therefore, grace and truth, a new commandment, has been given to us as sons. As it is written, “The law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ” (John 1:17).
As the Lord Himself said, “I give you a new commandment, love one another, and love one another as I have loved you” (John 13:34). I will be loved by the Father, and I will love him and reveal myself to him” (John 14:21).
Therefore, those who are truly saved are those who live in the love of God. As it is written, “We have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love. He who abides in love abides in God, and God in him” (1 John 4:16). People are not in the flesh, but in the spirit.
If there is only the death of the Lord and not my death, there is only the resurrection of the Lord and there is no resurrection of the Lord. I cannot have the love of the Lord. The true salvation that is written, “Faithful saying, if we have died with the Lord, we also shall live with him” (2 Timothy 2:11) cannot be achieved. Therefore, those who have been truly saved must have the testimony, “For me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21).
That is why the Bible says, “Pursue peace with all men and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14).
Therefore, those who only receive false salvation, the forgiveness of sins, and do not love their brothers, who are all people, are liars. As it is written, “If anyone says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar, and he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen” (1 John 4:20). .
Therefore, “We have received this commandment from the Lord, and he who loves God must also love his brother” (1 John 4:21). Amen, thank you Lord.
