Title: True Success/Romans 8:31-39
Contents True Success/Romans 8:31-39
“… it cannot be separated from the love of God” (Romans 8:31-39).
God is jealous. Why did Israel suffer so much? It was because they were serving God and serving others at the same time. If you do not focus on God, you will never succeed. A specific aspect of our focus on the Lord is our focus on Bible reading and prayer.
Lovers who really love each other have time to date, no matter how busy they are. If you're busy and don't have time to date, you're not really in love. If we really love the Lord, there can be no time when we are busy with something and do not have time to fellowship with Him.
Also, in order for us to be truly successful, we must focus on the mission the Lord gives us. Verse 36 says, “For the sake of the Lord all day long.” A wife who truly loves her husband is very interested in her husband's work. If we are married to Jesus, we should be interested in His work. The purpose of Jesus coming to this earth is to save souls. If the Lord's interest is here, our interest should be here too.
We do different things in our own workplaces, but the real purpose must be to save souls. Making money itself, my pleasure, and my honor should not be the ends. We can live boldly when we focus on what the Lord has asked us to do. Everyone is afraid of death, but as you can see in verses 38 and 39 of the text, those who are committed to their mission are not afraid of even death.
Because this death will lead you to heaven, and when you stand before the Lord, you will praise him, saying, "Well done, good and faithful servant."
What are you doing? Are you really at one with God and doing what God wants you to do? Then you don't have to worry about whether the game is good or bad. Now, I hope that you will be able to cut off all the distractions around you and focus on the mission the Lord has given you. We need to focus on saving souls.
