[Lee Sang-hyeok] Trust in God
Trust in God (Hebrews 11:1-4)
Faith is believing and expecting something you haven't seen.
In the old Old Testament times, Grandpa Noah woke up to God and said that I must destroy this world by sending a great flood because this world is evil.
But since you believed and depended on my words, I will spare you.
Therefore, we can see that you built an ark and lived in it and believed in the words to avoid the flood and built the ark for a long new month to avoid the flood.
To believe in God means to depend on God, trust the Word, and have confidence in God.
In a village, a young man made a living by delivering alcohol from a brewery.
One day, he attended a revival evangelism meeting and received grace and decided to believe in Jesus.
From then on, as I zealously attended church and listened to the word of God, my faith became stronger and I was able to experience salvation with certainty.
But one day, when I went to the early morning prayer meeting and prayed, the voice of the Lord said, “Now that you are a son of God, you deliver it as if you were encouraging others to drink alcohol, even though you should preach to others to stop drinking and believe in Jesus. told to leave there.
However, this young man was reluctant to quit because he had a family of eight and made a living by himself.
But that night the Lord appeared again and told him to get out of there quickly.
This young man obeyed these words and bravely left the brewery, succumbing to starvation.
When they left the brewery, the family vehemently opposed that they were now starving to death and persecuted them. When you run out of rice and are in a lot of trouble because you can't find a job quickly, the former brewery owner came and said, "Don't use your reckless stubbornness and get back to work with me!"
He said he would give me a higher salary.
When the family heard that, they liked it and urged them to hurry up and work after their master.
But the young man reluctantly refused. Even the locals ridiculed the young man for believing in Jesus.
Then, one day, the postman delivered a letter, and the owner of a large department store in the neighborhood asked me to come and see him.
When I went to see the owner, the owner asked me to become a clerk in his store, so this young man answered the owner, I will work in this store if you satisfy two conditions.
First of all, since I believe in Jesus, if you do not give me rest on Sundays and tell me not to deceive you because I do not know how to lie, then I will work with all my heart.
The owner smiled and said, "As an elder in my mother church, I will keep Sundays, and I can't lie."
Hearing that you are so devout in your faith, you are trying to hire me as a clerk. said
This young man worked hard and was honest and loyal as he did his job, and the department store prospered.
As the department store prospered, the owner set up a separate department store for this young man to run.
After that, thanks to God's blessing, this young man became very rich as a department store prospered.
In this way, faith is following the word of the Lord and obeying it.
The words of the Lord are all contained in the 66 books of the New Old Testament that we have.
Our children must believe these words and act according to these words.
Children, have you ever imagined the consequences of your faith?
The results of faith are immense. God repays us with things beyond our imagination.
Therefore, we hope that our children will be greatly blessed by serving Jesus with faith.
