Title: Truth and the Spirit
John 16:13 “But when the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth, and he will not speak on his own, but will speak what he has heard, and will make known to you things to come.” - Amen.
1. The truth of the Bible is the foundation of the life of the saints
Each age and region of the global village where the truth of the Bible has not been delivered and the gospel has not been delivered is living according to the climate of that place with different ideologies. There is no standard for judging whether customs or values are sinful or not. According to the Bible, the world lives according to what the devil teaches (John 8:44),
Romans 3:4 “..All men are lies, but God is true.”
Deuteronomy 12:28 “Hear all these words that I am commanding you, and keep them. If you do what is good and what is right in the sight of the LORD your God, you and your descendants will be blessed forever.”
In the New Testament, if we follow the words of Jesus the Messiah, we witnessed miracles and fulfillment as prophesied.
John 6:63 “...the words I have spoken to you are spirit and are life”
John 7:17 “If any man will do the will of God, he will know whether this doctrine is from God or whether I speak of my own accord.”
2. Living under the guidance of the Holy Spirit
It is also true faith to understand the truth of the Bible properly, to understand it well, to listen to what is explained, and to trust and follow it. But in the end, the true faith of Christianity is
It can be said that obedience to the truth of the Bible is a much more stable faith than those who grow up mainly on mystical experiences. Whoever believes in Jesus
Colossians 2:8 You are the ones who listen carefully to the saying, “Beware lest anyone take you captive with philosophy and vain deceit.”
2 Corinthians 13:8 Those who think, “We can do nothing against the truth, but only for the truth.”
Acting faith that trusts and follows God and the Bible is a good faith, but it is a better faith to realize it through the influence of the Holy Spirit and to follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit directly.
at the end of the text
John 16:13 "...when the Spirit of truth comes...he will not speak on his own, but will speak what he has heard, and will make known to you things to come."
It is speaking according to the truth that Jesus has given, and the Holy Spirit leads the way in the direction of life so that we can live wisely. Not only the ministers, but if the Holy Spirit helps the lives of all the saints who testify of the gospel through cultural life, they will be able to live much more vigorously and successfully.
You must have seen the slogans of being filled with truth and filled with the Holy Spirit. The fullness of truth is good faith that acknowledges and follows the truth as an absolute principle, and those who live in the fullness of the Holy Spirit become wise and powerful over the world. I pray that you and I will become victorious by fulfilling both of these things, but by becoming those who live in the truth with the Holy Spirit.
