I. The benefits of soul beauty
David, the poet of Psalm 8, looks at the natural world and worships and praises God the Creator. David's soul, who saw the beauty of nature, was also beautiful. When the soul is beautiful, God speaks to the intellect of the soul and pours love into it. We remember and miss our first love when we met Jesus, but God loves us the same as ever. We have lost our relationship with God because we have lost the beauty of our souls. The benefits and happiness of being in a beautiful state of soul are indescribable. But, don't many foolish people blame God or blame the environment for having received grace rather than looking after their defiled souls? The beauty of human existence is the beauty of the soul.
II. creativity and beauty
A. In God: Unity
In God, beauty is united. The Triune God has each person, and each person is alone perfect. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are ‘one’ because they have the same divine essence. Also, where there is one person, the two persons are together, so that they are “one.” In other words, God the Father revealed Him at creation, but the Son and the Holy Spirit are present there. 'Love' through the Father, 'grace' through the Son, and 'comfort' through the Holy Spirit, but the Triune God works together. The Triune God is in communion with each other and is pleased with each other because the beauty of each person and the beauty of the fellowship of the three persons are inseparable and single beauty.
B. In Creation: Being Two
Just as light is dispersed in various colors as it passes through a prism, the beauty of God is divided into two types when it appears in the creation world: natural beauty, feeling the visible beauty of nature, and moral beauty, feeling beautiful in goodness and moral life.
C. Natural and Moral Beauty
1. Before sin entered
Before sin entered, the two beauties communicated with each other. In other words, the beauty of nature is the desire for a life that achieves moral beauty.
It aroused the heart, and that longing led him to seek God, the author of all beauty.
2. After the sin entered
Sin ruined not only the beauty of the created world, but also the human intellect to perceive it. Thus, the beauty felt by humans was distorted, and what was not beautiful came to be perceived as beautiful. The eye for natural beauty remained somewhat undestroyed after the fall, but the eye for moral beauty was scarcely damaged. However, God gives human beings rebirth so that they can restore the eyes to see beauty.
Ⅲ. The way the soul becomes beautiful
A. Seeing the True Beauty: The Transportation of Beauty
The regenerated human recovers the ability to integrate the two beauty, and through the contemplation of the visible beauty, he feels the tangible beauty and wishes to become a being consistent with that beauty. In this way, we must live a life that contemplates the beauty of God.
B. Do not indulge in the beauty of the world
To indulge in non-beauty is to destroy the soul, making human existence dirty and miserable. Also, no matter how beautiful it may be, if it is something that separates us from God, it should not be taken away from us. Instead of being content with what you love, you should think about the God who made that love possible. That is the love of submission to God.
C. Rejoice in the beauty of God
Look at the example of Jesus Christ, who looked at the beauty of all things and considered moral values. I want you to see God's beauty, meditate on His character, and live a happy life as a true believer because of Him. 2005-11-13
