Title: Unknown crippled man/Acts 3:1-10
Content I. People in Need of Help (1-3)
As Peter and John were going up to the temple, the crippled man they met was unable to move without help. Since he was born lame, he could not move on his own. He was someone who needed help all his life.
Therefore, it is very natural and common to beg for something from Peter and John who go up to pray.
In the image of this crippled man begging and asking for help in the most miserable form in front of the splendid beauty gate of the temple, we can see us looking weak and unable to do anything behind the splendid modern civilization and culture.
II. Those who have the root problem solved (4-6)
Peter and John hear the lame begging and tell us to look. For this person who begs for daily food, the most important and urgent problem is the problem of silver and gold and eating.
But Peter and John have no silver or gold, but what I have I give you, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk. It is not a problem with silver or gold, which you get and use once and then have to live a life of begging again.
It means that you will solve the fundamental problems of life through Jesus of Nazareth, who can change your life anew.
III. A person whose life has changed (7-10)
The beautiful lame man changed his life by meeting Jesus through Peter and John. A person who had lived a life of begging as a cripple up until now got up and started walking and running. Be perfect and praise God.
The conditions of life's misery and pain of being crippled from birth have become a stump of blessings that bring glory to God and surprise to others. Just meeting Jesus Christ like this will change your life. The fundamental problems of life are solved.
You will experience the power and miracles of God that surprise people.
