Old Testament
9. Shout out, you peoples, but in the end you will be destroyed. Hear, you peoples of far-off countries, Girdle your loins, but in the end you will be defeated. Girdle your waist, but in the end you will be destroyed.
10. Plan yourselves together, but it will never come to pass. Talk about it, and it will never come to pass, for God is with us.
11. The LORD revealed it to me with a strong hand, and he warned me not to go in the way of this people, saying,
12. Even if this people say that there are rebels, you must not, according to all they say, say that there are rebels; do not be afraid or be dismayed at what they fear.
13. The LORD of hosts shall call him holy, and make him the one you should fear and fear.
14. He Will Be a Sanctuary
new testament
40. When they found it right, they called the apostles and whipped them, and forbade them to speak in the name of Jesus and let them go.
41. And the apostles left the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy of reproach for his name
42. Every day they did not cease to teach and preach that Jesus was the Christ, whether in the temple or at home.

There are some things in life that need to be stopped and some things that shouldn't be stopped. Doing lies or injustice must be stopped. But
Doing righteousness and preaching the truth must not stop. If we continue to do what we have to stop, we will be put to shame, shame, and perish. And if you stop doing what you shouldn't, you will not see any fruit and you will regret it. What can't stop the apostles?
Why couldn't they stop preaching the word?
1. Because they experienced the power of the Word. They met the Lord and heard the word. I was taught, and I participated in his miracles. They experienced the transformation of ordinary people into great apostles because of the Lord. “We are witnesses of these things” (Acts 5:32). They themselves were witnesses. So they couldn't stop preaching these words.
2. Because they experienced the power of the Holy Spirit. They have seen and experienced the coming of the Holy Spirit upon those who believe. The Holy Spirit to those who were ashamed
He gave them boldness, and gave them boldness to those who lacked courage. It was the Holy Spirit who made wonders and miracles appear among the people through the hands of the apostles.
3. Because they knew who to obey. No matter how much people disturbed them, they couldn't stop them. Putting them in prison, even killing them, they did not give up preaching the good news of the gospel. Even being scourged was a joy because there was no one higher than Jesus, who loved them and died in their place.
What is preventing us from preaching the gospel today? Is it shame, is it not enough to know the Bible, or is it better than me?
Is there someone doing it, or is it a business loss? If the apostles of the Bible had lived in our day today, what would they have done? Would you still rejoice in being reproached for the Lord's sake? Whether you are at church or at work every day, have you not stopped teaching and preaching that Jesus is the Christ in today's world?
