Title: Untie the knot (Matthew 16:17-20)
[Matthew 16:17-20]
[17] ♠ Jesus answered and said to them, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but my Father in heaven. [19] ♠ I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. Do not tell anyone that you are a Christian.
I am happy to visit Southern California Sarang Church again, just as Gaksoli who came last year has returned. Last year my son came and I was curious what sermons he preached. Once, my three sons and I went on a TV show together, and the host asked who was the best preacher out of the three. The first son said he was the best. Then the second son was furious and said, ‘Your brother is like that because he is less beaten. I don't know if my son used my illustration a lot when he came here last year to preach.
(1) We must untie the knot of distrust.
You don't know how much distrust there is in Korea. Distrust prevails in almost every field, including politics, society, and culture. Only when this knot of distrust is untied will God bless our nation. It can be said that the root of all problems in Korea is mistrust. this must be solved This is possible with the help of the Holy Spirit and the merits of the blood. I hope that all knots of distrust are untied.
(2) The knot of discord must be untied.
Look at Luke 12:58. “When you go to the judge with the person who will accuse you, try to be reconciled on the road, lest he lead you to the judge and the judge will hand you over to the official and put you in prison. The reconciler is said to be called the son of God. I visit prison a lot. When politicians and generals are in prison, they often go to pray for them. The pit of discord they have is really deep. The Republic of Korea will become a great country if they work together again for the sake of the country and resolve the conflict. Likewise, discord at work and at home must be resolved.
(3) We must untie the knot of recession.
Look at Luke 6:38. “Give, and it will be given to you; it will be given to you, pressed down, shaken, and overflowing, and given to you. With the measure that you measure, it will be measured to you again.” Why should we live in poverty? Why are we living in poverty on this earth as children of God? We pray that the knots of our recession will be untied in the name of Jesus Christ. No matter how poor you are, there are few countries where God has blessed you like Korea. Is there anyone who suffers from depression? let's unpack Believe that God will release you from heaven. I have been ministering in Korea for 45 years, and so far, God has not filled me. It was loosed on earth, and it was also loosed in heaven just as it was said. Look at Matthew 6:21. “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” Let’s not forget the tithe. I hope that you will enjoy even greater blessings by paying tithing. The knot of recession must be untied. I have never seen a life ruined by tithing. God is not indebted to us. If you sow a little, you will reap a little; if you sow a lot, you will reap a lot.
We believe that God, the King of kings and Lord of all, will untie the knot of distrust, the knot of discord, and the knot of depression.
