Title: Very Good Jesus / John 10:11-18

Contents

Everyone seeks good things.

However, although there are many good things in the world, they do not last long and change.

It may even break.

Today I am going to tell you why Jesus is so good.

Jesus said that he was the good shepherd, which meant that Jesus was a good person.

it is for

However, this is true only in the culture and context of the old Israel. To us, the word “friend” is more realistic. The word “shepherd” and “friend” are the same words.

In fact, Jesus had an infamous nickname at the time, which meant that he was the friend of sinners.

Even today, Jesus is our best friend.

“There is no better friend than Jesus.---My faithful true friend who comes to me when I am in trouble and gives me peace of mind.. My true friend who loves me and comes to be my friend when I am lonely;----

The fact that you don't have a friendly friend to pass on to you when you're in trouble, and friendship is deeply rooted

In a word, a life without personal fellowship should be said to be a desolate and desolate life.

Therefore, someone said that not having a true friend means that you are receiving an intangible punishment in your life.

Life is that there are no friends with whom to live on this earth and with whom you can make true friendships,

It is no different than losing one of life's greatest assets.

Here is the greatest misfortune of modern people.

The population is as large as a grain of sand. Neighbors and friendships are getting farther apart, and even family relationships are starting to fade away.

Lee Juk is transforming into a world where there is no place to put one heart.

It is the human condition of today to feel a deeper sense of loneliness despite the large number of people.

As Toynbee said, we are becoming a disconnected society.

In this desolate world, Jesus is an invisible and kind friend.

1. You are an unchanging friend

A best friend is a friend who does not change. Heb 13:8 says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”

In the world, when my circumstances are good, I have many friends.

But when things get difficult, they all go away. (2 Timothy 4:9-10)

(2 Timothy 4:9) Hurry and come to me

(2 Timothy 4:10) Demas, because he loved this world, left me and went to Thessalonica, Cresces to Galatia, and Titus to Dalmatia.

Friendships of worldly friends change with time and circumstances, and good things in the world change with fashion as time goes by. Jesus is a good person because he is the same yesterday and today.

2. He is a friend who fills you up.

I recently heard the news that a 70-year-old son killed his 90-year-old mother.

It is not uncommon for them to throw their eggs away.

If it doesn't fit their interests, parents kill their children and take them with them and throw them away, saying that they will take care of them.

Friends of the world also abandon them according to their own understanding and leave.

But Jesus kicked those who were outcasts in the world.

He healed a 38-year-old sick man.

(John 5:5) There was a man who was thirty-eight years old.

(John 5:6) When Jesus saw that he was lying down, he knew that he had been ill for a long time, and said to him, “Do you want to get well?

(John 5:7) The sick man answered, "Lord, there is no one to put me in the pool when the water is stirred, so while I am going, another goes down first."

The world abandoned him and his family abandoned him, but Jesus healed him and healed him.

He kicked the tax collector Zacchaeus.

(Luke 19:2) There was a man named Zacchaeus, a tax collector and a rich man.

(Luke 19:5) When Jesus came to the place, he looked up and looked up and said, "Zacchaeus, come down quickly, for today I must stay at your house."

(Luke 19:8) Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, I will give half of what I have to the poor; and if I have extorted anyone, I will repay you fourfold.

You can see that Zacchaeus is so moved.

Because he is a publican, many people view him as a sinner and alienate him, but Jesus calls his name and visits his house where no one comes, so he is so moved that Zacchaeus immediately becomes a new person and if there is anything extorted, he will be four times worse. is to say.

Jesus was the friend of these people

It was even nicknamed as a friend of a criminal and a publican.

3. He is a friend who died for us.

(John 15:13) Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

It is difficult to make sacrifices instead in difficult circumstances.

But Jesus loved us and died for us.

By his death we

(1) He saved us from the punishment of hell.

(2) I came before God (Hebrews 10:19).

(Hebrews 10:19) Therefore, brethren, we have confidence to enter the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus.

(3) You have inherited the kingdom of God.

4. He is a friend who bears a lot of fruit.

John 15:1 - I am the vine, and you are the branches - and it bears much fruit if it abides in me.

Jesus is our invisible supporter.

Jesus is the one who pushes and draws us.

He was cursed and died for us to do well.

You may have seen the picture of praying hands holding hands together.

It became a famous painting because it contained a beautiful story.

There were two people who were friendly.

Both of them were good at drawing, but they were both poor, so they couldn't study drawing.

One of them decided to earn money to pay for school, and the other went to the city to study painting.

When I came home from vacation, my friend, who was struggling to earn his tuition, was praying with his twisted hands together.

The hand was so beautiful that I drew a picture, and the painting became famous.

In front of my desk, there is a statue of Jesus carrying the cross, and it is seen that he is trying to make me better.

He said that I have come so that they may have life and have it abundantly.

(1) It bears much fruit (John 15:1-3).

(2) Personal change (John 15:6, Ephesians 4:23).

(3) There is an answer to prayer (John 10:9, John 14:14).

5. He is the friend who takes us to heaven

How do you go to heaven?

(1) Because Jesus came from heaven (John 3:31).

(2) Because it becomes the way to heaven and a guide (John 14:6, Acts 4:1)

(3) Because He came into this world and forgave all sins (1 John 1:2, Romans 4:25)

(4) Because he becomes an advocate (advocate) (1 John 2:1).

(5) Because they do not abandon them to the end (John 10:28, 6:37).

Heaven is a wonderful place. It is a good place to live with the good Jesus, and it is a good place for Jesus to renew every day. Jesus promised to take us to heaven.

Conclusion: Jesus is a very good person.
