Title: Very Good Saints, Very Good Land,

Bible: Luke 8:4-15

As the self-existent from eternity, when God revealed Himself to the world as Creator, He introduced Himself as the Father of the living and the Redeemer of those who depend on Him and seek Him.

God reveals Himself to those who depend on Him and seek Him wherever and whenever he seeks Him.

In Matthew 13:12, God not only makes Himself more known to those who seek to know Him, but also goes with those who seek to know Him, and God destroys all theories of life.

He does not forgive anything that opposes and hinders the knowledge of God, and gives powerful power to take every theory of life captive to the obedience of Christ.

Therefore, among many people, the one who knows God has the greatest knowledge,

Those who call God as Father have the power to overcome the world, so those who know God are those who humbly discover their sins before God and repent, and those who realize their weaknesses.

The person who has the greatest power and ability in the world is the person who has met the self-existent God from eternity.

No human being can meet God through his own strength and work.

Because human beings are born with sin by nature, no sinful person can see the face of God, but God, who is rich in mercy, opens the way to meet you,

He came to this earth as a son to give eternal life to sinners and said,

John 14:6- “I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me.” You said.

Jesus is the sheep's gate that leads sinners to God, so anyone who tries to meet God without going through Jesus becomes an illegal person. (John 10:7-8)

God sent His Son to save sinful life from eternal death and sin,

In the midst of serving God as Father through Jesus,

He said that there are saints like sheep, and there are saints like goats.

In Matthew 25:32 and below, the sheep and the goats will stand at the same time at the right hand of God's throne in the last days.

The saints like sheep- The Lord gave food when he was hungry, gave him something to drink when he was thirsty, and received them when he was a stranger.

The saints like goats- When the Lord was hungry you did not feed them, when you were thirsty you did not give them anything to drink, when you were a stranger you did not welcome them, when you were naked you did not clothe them, when you were sick and in prison. He was a self-centered saint who did not look back at the time.

But the Lord said to the sheep-like saints on the right hand- inherit the kingdom of God,

The goat on the left says--Depart from the Lord, you cursed ones, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

Do you want to become good saints like sheep and inherit the kingdom of heaven prepared by God? Or do you want to be destroyed as a saint who only knows and thinks about yourself like a goat on the left?

This choice is ultimately up to us.

God is called in Deuteronomy 30:29-30 to tell His people who live in a world like a wilderness.

“I call heaven and earth to testify against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses; choose life so that you and your descendants may live, and love the Lord your God, obey his words, and obey him. .” while saying

After putting life and death, blessings and curses before us, God tells us that whatever we choose, He works according to that choice. (People have the opportunity to choose many things in life.)

In the text, through the parable of the sower, Jesus compares the seed to the word of God and the field to the saints. , He says that it can become a field that prevents the growth of fruit, and tells the parable of the field that there are 4 types of fields and 4 types of saints.

Roadside field- Saints who do not give their hearts to wanting to have two hearts,

A field full of stones- Saints who voluntarily give up their faith in the face of the hardships of life,

A field of thorns- The saints who live according to their own will and claim for the energy of happiness, that is, the pleasures of the world.

Good field   By comparing them to saints who receive the word of God with a kind and good heart and bear fruit with patience, Jesus wants all of God’s children to become good saints and good fields to bear good fruit. to become and please God?

1. You must have a kind and good heart.(15)

Will I be the sheep at God's right hand? Or will it be the goat on the left? depends purely on our will and our choices through our own beliefs. (because there is no will)

The land can be a good field according to the owner's cultivation, or it can be a stone field, a field of thorns, or a field by the road. But we can have a good heart and a bad heart according to our own will and beliefs.

Since God does not transcend human will, in order to become the field of a good and good heart and bear good fruit, He tells us to remove the field of bad heart in our hearts.

In the depths of a person's heart, there is a heart like a roadside, a heart full of rocks, and a field of the heart with thorns.

A heart like the roadside, a heart full of rocks, and a heart full of thorns are eventually hardened,

There are three main reasons why people's hearts become like this.

The first is indifference,

The second is pride,

The third is a negative mind.

Since Adam and Eve sinned, man's attention has been focused only on himself.

So, if we do not cultivate this kind of heart with the word of God, we will be blinded by greed, and we will pursue only the lusts and benefits of the flesh, not paying much attention to God and His kingdom.

In general, the higher the national income, the less people believe in Jesus.

As your income increases, your living environment increases and you become more comfortable, you can see that you are immersed in physical things but less interested in spiritual things.

Therefore, spiritual indifference leads to the wrath of God away from the good and good heart that nurtures the word of God. (Spiritual indifference- makes you have a heart like Saul.)

I hope that all of us will live with interest for God's kingdom and righteousness in order to become good believers who are praised by God, and to become a good field and bear good fruit.

2. We must listen carefully to the Word and keep it.

We have a roadside, a heart like a stone field, and a heart field like a field of thorns that we may not even know about.

A heart like a rocky field- It is a hardened heart so that the Word cannot take root in it.

A heart like a field of thorns- It means that the Word cannot reach upward due to bad faith.

If the Word does not take root in the heart, it cannot withstand the test in front of small winds and waves.

If the Word does not reach upward, we cannot overcome our worries and greed for the world.

Such minds listen to God's word sweetly, but when they encounter a test, they stop forgetting the word and want to compromise with the world. They say they believe in God, but they do not overcome the temptations of the world's cares and wealth rather than the kingdom and righteousness. You can't go against the word.

Just as a farmer sows a seed that has life in a field, so the word of God in Hebrews 4:12 has the power to live and act. When it is sown in a person's heart, it pierces the soul and spirit like a sharp two-edged sword and pierces the soul and spirit to the division. By examining your thoughts, you have a good heart and good thoughts.

Just as Joshua and the Israelite army destroyed Jericho because they received and obeyed the word in Joshua 6, I hope that we too will plow our hearts with the word of God and experience the wonderful miracles and power of God to become victors.

3. When the test comes, you must persevere to the end.

It is said that a good field bears fruit with perseverance, that is, a good field produces good fruit with perseverance.

The farmer sows a field and waits patiently for the field to grow while the seed grows and bears fruit.

God also wants His people to persevere after receiving the Word, so that the seed of the Word will grow.

What does God require of us to be patient?

James 1:4- “so that they may be complete and complete, lacking in the slightest.” Says

Patience in the life of faith is one of the best ways to nurture yourself in the Word of God.

Most of those who experienced God's miracles, even among the ancestors of faith, have their souls saved through patience and receive blessings in business and livelihood.

As a representative figure, Abraham, who was born again as a father of faith from trading in idols, was called by God at the age of 75 in Genesis 12:4, but was circumcised to be recognized as God's people at the age of 99 after 24 years in Genesis 18:25. 21:5 When he was 100 years old, he had a son Isaac, and it took 25 years for Abraham to become the father of faith and to receive a son as a gift.

} As such, the patience of the saints is the channel of holy blessings that achieve God's “righteousness”.

I hope you have the faith to persevere in hope in order to fulfill God's perfect promise of salvation.

There are people with different personalities in the world, and there are saints with different hearts.

Dear saints, I hope that you will receive the word of God with a kind and good heart in order to become a very good saint and good soil with a good heart and to grow the seed of the word.

Also, as we obey the word of God that is heard from us, when the Lord comes again and separates the sheep from the goats, I pray that you will become a very good sheep on the right hand side who inherits the kingdom of God.
