Title: Victory March/Exodus 14:21~25
Contents Victory March/Exodus 14:21~25
"Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the LORD caused the sea to retreat with a strong east wind all night, and the waters parted and the sea became dry land..." (Exodus 14:21-25)
If you look at the text, you can see a person who has the confidence of victory. This is Moses. He is the servant of the Lord, called by God. He leads the Israelites out into the wilderness. Go to the land of Canaan. However, it is not long before they meet the 'Red Sea'. Behind them, Pharaoh's army is pursuing them. The people are trembling in fear, but Moses calls out boldly. We declare with confidence that "God will fight for us today." And he prays to God. At that time, God gave the answer, 'Command the children of Israel to go forward' (verse 15). Then He said, 'Take up your staff, and stretch out your hand over the sea, and let it be parted' (verse 16). Moses obeyed, and then the Red Sea parted. And the Israelites walk through the middle of the Red Sea. The Egyptian army follows them, but they are all killed. It was a victory that God Himself helped.
Even in our lives today, barriers like the Red Sea can stand in the way. What would you do then? It will be resolved when God helps. So, what is the secret to winning the march? First, we must reach out the hand of faith. Moses stretches out his hand in faith. Then God worked. Moses stretched out his hand in faith, and a way was made through the sea (verse 21). All Moses did was pray to God and put out his hand as he commanded.
Second, it is a declaration of faith. You don't know how difficult it is to say the word of faith when a person is in a difficult situation. Nevertheless, Moses speaks the words of faith (Exodus 14:13-14). Moses declared the word of faith as he looked to God. God is responsible for the words of His people. You can easily see the battle between David and Goliath. David is victorious by making a declaration of faith before the giant Goliath armed with a sword and a spear (1 Samuel 17:45). When Peter made a declaration of faith toward the lame, he got up (Acts 3:6). If you want to experience God's work, you must declare it by faith.
