Peter testifies of Jesus. God gave Jesus the power of the Holy Spirit to perform many miracles and miracles when preaching the gospel of the kingdom. How did God relieve the pain of death? What is the secret to enjoying the grace and blessings of the resurrection that brings liberation, freedom, and salvation from this death?
1. The Pain of Death
Death is the enemy of man and God. If death is personified, it is the devil and Satan. The devil has the power to die, kills people, and opposes God. Therefore, because people are afraid to die, they become slaves to the devil. As a result, human beings were bound by sin, and because of their slavery to the devil, they broke the law and had no choice but to receive the wrath of the righteous God. However, God is the one who has the authority to live, and He frees humans from death by destroying the devil who has the power of death (Hebrews 2:14-15). If we do not realize this grace of God, humans are bound by the power of death and suffer. The pain of death makes man fear and fear, slavery without freedom, a life of despair without eternal hope, physical suffering, mental anguish from all relationships with humans, and frustration caused by spiritual blindness of faith in God I would call it extreme. The way out of this suffering is the resurrection through the cross (1 Corinthians 1:18).
2. God who relieved the pain of death
The suffering of death caused by human slavery to the devil is the result of sin. The scene of this suffering of death is the crucifixion. That is why Jesus Christ, the sinless and righteous Son of God, took on the suffering of death, the price for all mankind's sins. The death of Jesus Christ on the cross and His burial in the tomb were God's way of solving mankind's problems. And through the raising of Jesus Christ, He gives hope, joy, victory and thrill to all who believe in Jesus. When God sent Jesus into this world, He gave Him the power to live eternal life. Jesus is the Lord of life who comes back to life even if he dies (Acts 3:15). Also, God raised him to life through the Holy Spirit, who is the Spirit of life (Romans 1:4). Jesus died with the power to die and rose from the dead with the power to live (John 10:17-18). In the end, Jesus' death and resurrection proclaim the victory over death and hell (Revelation 1:18).
3. Blessing of Resurrection Faith
The Bible testifies to the kind of blessing that resurrection faith leads to through David who has resurrection faith. David lived with faith in the resurrection. The result is: First, my heart was filled with joy. This is because even if the body is to die, the soul will not be abandoned in Hades (the pain of death). This is because there is the promise of resurrection faith that, as the Lord's anointed one (Christ), we will not suffer corruption. Second, the body lived a life full of hope. He always sang the joyous song of his lips, and he lived with the hope of resurrection even with the weakness of the body. It was because they looked to the spiritual body that was resurrected like the resurrection of Christ. Third, we were able to enjoy the blessing of prosperity by seeing the way of life in the future. As the Lord showed us the way of life, we were able to live a prosperous life by walking in an open path without fear of the future. David's faith lived a life of faith that walked with the Lord by serving and serving the Lord. True resurrection faith is a life in which we can escape from the pain of death and enjoy the joy of life.
