Title: Vision of Zechariah (Zech 01:1)

Contents The book of Zechariah is 'Zechariah' in Hebrew, which means 'the Lord remembers'. The book of Zechariah is divided into two main parts. In chapters 1-6, eight visions appear, and in chapters 7-14, four messages of Zechariah are recorded.

The first vision (1:7-17) is a person standing amongst the fossil trees. The message of this vision is well expressed in 1:16. “I have returned to Jerusalem because of compassion… An ink line will be set over Jerusalem.” It means that God will restore Israel.

The second vision (1:18-21) is a vision of four horns and four factories (blacksmiths). So what does this fantasy mean? The four horns are the Gentile nations that took Judah and scattered it, and the four blacksmiths came to break the horns of the Gentile nations.

The third vision (chapter 2) is a person holding a measuring line in his hand. They symbolically show that Jerusalem will be completely rebuilt as men to survey.

The fourth vision (chapter 3) is the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord. It is a vision of taking off his clothes (v. 4), taking away his sins, and putting on beautiful clothes. This means that the sins of the remnant of Israel are forgiven.

The fifth vision (chapter 4) is a pure gold lampstand (lampstand) and two olive trees (olive trees). Elder Park Tae-seon, a heretic, referred to himself as the olive tree mentioned here, referring to the governor Zerubbabel and the priest Joshua.

The sixth vision (5:1-4) is a flying scroll. The scroll here refers to the ‘book of works’ that God will use in judgment.

The seventh vision (5:5-11) is the woman in the epah. Here, the Ephah is a 36.44 liter container for storing grain, and it is the largest container used by the Jews. This vision is the same subject as the flying scroll that precedes it. This is a warning in advance that Israel will be severely punished if they continue to sin.

The eighth vision (6:1-8) shows four chariots. The four chariots here are said to be the four winds of heaven. These are the executors of God's judgment, and they speak of the diversity of God's judgment.
