sounds from hell
Luke 16:19-31
A thief entered a house to steal. The sound of Grandpa and Grandma came through the crack in the door. said the grandmother.
The thief murmured.
>
Then I peek inside the house through the door. Two old men were having a hanbok.
Sometimes the sound comes out through the cracks in the door. But there is a sound flowing from hell. I hope you can hear it today.
Jesus told this story.
There was a rich man. He wears purple clothes and fine linen, and lives in luxurious contact every day. But at the gate, a beggar named Lazarus was living with boils. Lazarus lived a miserable life, eating bread that the rich man had thrown away after washing his hands. Both died.
(Luke 16:22)
(Luke 16:22-24)
Abraham said.
(Luke 16:25)
The rich man and Abraham continued the conversation.
(Luke 16:27-28)
(Luke 16:29)
(Luke 16:3O)
(Luke 16:31)
Hell is there.
Wesley, the founder of Methodism, said this while preaching a sermon on hell.
Moody also said.
Hell is there for a reason.
1. It is in the Bible.
If the Holy Spirit is so, then so be it. The Bible is the only book that speaks the most truth on earth. So what the Bible says is the supreme truth.
2. Someone has seen it.
If at least one person has seen a tiger in the mountains of Gangwon-do, then there is a tiger. Even if 47 million South Koreans have not seen it all, it is something that one person wants to see.
But many people have seen hell.
Bob Jones
he exclaimed.
But the Lord took him and gave him a tour of hell. So I saw Hell in detail.
As I entered the gates of hell, I heard screams that ripped my ears. Screams, like knives scraping glass, were heard here and there. It was a pain in the ears. Bob Jones said.
And Hell had no light at all. It was pitch black. There was hunger and sorrow. There was only heat, worry, and sorrow. I had a wish.
A strong smell stung my nose. It was a bad smell. It smelled like rotten eggs. It smelled like burning sulfur. It was painful to breathe. It was falling, falling and falling, and it was falling endlessly.
The man did not accept evangelism and said,
And he mocked the pastor. The man died of lung disease. The man was in hell. I met him. said the man.
Bob Jones asked the Lord.
The Lord said.
A lot of people have seen hell. Hell is definitely there.
I would like to tell the story of another person, Park Young-guk.
This is the testimony of Elder Park English, which I know very well. I am the director of Daniel Prayer Center in Gokseong. I held that prayer house meeting 10 more times. He was a violent thug. My wife ran away. He took an ax and fell while trying to kill all eight of his family. And I saw heaven and hell. And the book I wrote is a book.
I have seen hell. It was a dry burning place with no water at all. When I entered Hell, it was like a hot summer breeze that made it difficult to breathe. My lips and tongue seemed to crack from the heat and dryness. The excruciating pain made him dizzy with shouts from all over the place.
Hell is definitely there. There are countless people who have seen and spoken of in the Bible.
swedish borg
Swedenborg was a contemporary of Wesley, the founder of Methodism. We also exchanged letters. Wesley once said to him:
He is a man who has been in and out of the spirit world countless times. One day he went to hell. Someone I know asked.
After leaving these words, he shunned him and returned to this world.
Swedenborg also saw hell.
Baxter
Baxter, who lives in Washington, has been to Hell and Heaven 40 times. Every time I went, I constantly heard screams for help from hell. There was a woman who cried so sadly. I asked Jesus next to me.
<Can you spare that woman?> Jesus said firmly.
Voltaire
The French atheist Voltaire (1694-1778) also saw Hell and died. He said:
Wrote many atheistic books
The moment he died, his body trembled. And said.
The doctor shook his head and said.
As he breathed, he said one last time.
Why you say there is no hell
Those who say that there is no hell tell us why.
1. The question is whether a God of love will cause human beings to suffer forever.
But God is a God of love and at the same time a God of justice. Fairness is unfairness, and inequity is fairness. In principle, scholarships and awards are given to students who study well and are sincere at school. And it is fair to fail and punish students who do not study and do bad things. It is unfair to treat a conscientious or disloyal student fairly.
It is fair to give the Order of Mugunghwa to patriots who have worked for the country and to imprison those who harm the country.
The penalty for sin is death. It is fair to have hell. God is a God of love and justice. He is a God who has a staff and a staff.
The staff is the tool of love that guides the sheep. But the stick is the whip that beats the sheep as they go astray.
Hell must be fair.
2. It is unfair to give eternal punishment to hell for short-lived sins.
But it is not. One second is enough to kill a person with a gun. Kill a person for 1 second and get 30 years in prison. Even 1 second of sin is 30 years of sin.
The penalty for sin is death.
3. It is impossible for hellfire to burn forever.
Hellfire cannot last forever because fire is meant to burn and be put out. But you know when you look at the sun. The sun we see has not cooled for 4.5 billion years. No, it's getting hotter. An environmental competition is now being held in Denmak Copenhagen. Presidents of 100 countries gathered. For every 1 degree increase, the sea level rises by 15 m.
It's going up. Hellfire is eternal.
look of hell
Hell is there. So where is Hell?
1. A place where there is an unquenchable fire.
The Bible says this about hell.
(Matthew 25:4)
(Rev 14:11)
(Rev 20:10)
The rich man in the text also went to Hades. Then he asked Lazarus for a bottle of water. Hell is a place of eternal torment.
2. It is an unavoidable place.
(Mark 9:48-19)
3. There is no end.
(2 Thessalonians 1:9)
4. There is no plan.
(Ecclesiastes 9:10)
Hell is such a miserable place.
A man entered the prison room and there was written on the wall:
By the way, you can come out of prison when you finish your sentence, but in hell there is no sentence. It lasts forever.
Hell is a really sad place. That's why Kanzo Uchimura said:
Who goes to hell?
1. the devil
Hell was originally intended to imprison the devil who rebelled against God. Where we don't need to go.
(Matthew 25:4)
2. Unbeliever
Anyone who doesn't believe in Jesus goes to hell.
(Rev 20:15)
3. Repentant Christians
The kingdom of heaven is where the righteous go. But who is righteous? The Bible tells it clearly.
(Luke 15:7)
way out of hell
There is only one way out of hell.
Only Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
When Michelangelo was young, he went to all the museums and galleries, walking around Europe to study art. But I found something strange. We found that each art gallery or museum had at least two paintings of Jesus' crucifixion. He pondered.
With this in mind, he figured out the secret. Because the cross is the only sign that can save people. Because there is no place where the cross is not needed. Because there is no one in this world who does not need the cross.
Paul said.
(Hebrews 9:27)
I would like to end this story by telling you
It was 1683 when the English statesman Sir William Lessell was executed. He gave the watch to the doctor who was sitting next to him and said.
Death is not death, but a crossroads between hell and heaven. Which path will you choose?
One choice is forever.
