Subject: Waiting Father
The starting point of the parable is Jesus' words to the Pharisees and scribes who criticized sinners and tax collectors for receiving and eating with them.
After the parable of the lost sheep and the parable of the lost coin, he is talking about the lost prodigal son.
Therefore, it shows the infinite love of God.
1. Description of the actions of the prodigal son
(1) Literary parallelism (Oh Kwang-man, poet and farmer)
①Losing a son- "Give me my portion"
② Wasting wealth by living a life of debauchery
③ Lost everything- “I wasted my wealth… and I was in need.”
④The Great Sin- "Stealing pigs for strangers"
⑤ They all forsaken him-"No one gave him."
⑥Change of heart - "Looking back at yourself - You die here"
⑥'First repentance-"See me as one of the hired men"
⑤ 'Totally accept him - "His father ran and kissed him"
④ 'Great repentance - "I am not worthy to be called a son"
③ 'Get everything- clothes, tunes, and gods (restored as a son)
② ‘Property used for the festival of joy’
① 'I found my son-"My son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and found again."
(2) unrealistic demands

In Judea, wealth was given to the father at the time of death, not to the father while he was still alive. Therefore, asking for a share of the property is already an act worthy of the father's wrath.
②Disposition of property-
Moreover, the act of selling the property is even more improbable. Usually, the eldest son receives ⅔ , and the second son receives ⅓ as inheritance.
Therefore, the disposition of the prodigal son is even more difficult to understand given the accident at the time.
(3) the foolish prodigal son

The other is a wild rat, which has thorns and is used as firewood, grows to about 40 cm tall, and the fruit is black and tasteless, so it was not eaten except in the worst case.

*** We see the end of a sinner who has turned away from God. It is the image of a completely abandoned person with nothing and no one around.
2. The Prodigal Repentance
He has not reached complete repentance, but he is looking back to his hometown for food. He is returning from the thought that it is better to go home and live as a laborer than to live in a foreign country.

① He looks at his hometown despite his guilt towards his father and the coldness and contempt of the people of his hometown.
(2) Be one of the hired servants.
① He gave up his son's right.
② It will return to the form of a daily worker.

3. Father's love

- By acting like a beggar and telling all his sons to do these things to their servants, they are building the authority of their children in front of their servants.
- The best clothes, like Job's clothes, were a symbol of love and authority.
- Putting the ring finger on your hand means [seal] and has the same meaning as the seal Pharaoh put on Job.
- The strange thing about foot shoes is that slaves did not wear shoes. But the self-sufficient was wearing shoes.
②Catch a fat cow
- Slaughtering cattle is a feast for [the whole town], and it is the love of the father that we will accept it as the joy of [the community] and enjoy it together.
③ This my son was dead and is raised again; I was lost and found again.
- The father accepted the prodigal son again as his true son.
*** This Father's love brought the Son's true repentance.
Luke 15:21 The son said to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son.
*** This father's love embraced the foolish son.
When any sinner returns to God, he is forgiven and receives the blessing of restoration again.
conclusion :
Let us turn to the Lord from the wrong way anytime, anywhere. God is still waiting for us.
