Old Testament
1. Why do the nations rage, and the nations plot vain things?
2. The princes of the earth go forth, and the rulers conspire with one another against the LORD and his anointed.
3. Let us cut off their ties and put off their bonds.
4. He who is in heaven laughs; the Lord will laugh at them.
5. Then he became angry and became angry and astonished them, saying,
6. I have set my king on Zion, my holy mountain.
7. I give the command of the LORD, and the LORD said to me, "You are my son; today I have begotten you.
8. Ask me, and I will give the nations as your inheritance, and your possessions shall extend to the ends of the earth.
9. You will break them with a rod of iron; you will smash them like earthen vessels.
10. Wherefore, princes, be wise; you judges of the earth, receive instruction.
11. Serve the LORD with reverence, and rejoice with trembling.
12. Kiss his son, or his wrath will cause you to perish on the way, for his wrath is swift; blessed are all those who take refuge in the LORD.
new testament
1. And I saw, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and fourteen and forty-four thousand standing with him, with the name of the Lamb and the name of its father written on their foreheads.
2. I heard a sound from heaven, like the sound of many waters, and like the sound of great thunder, and the sound I heard was like those who played harps playing their harps.
3. They sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders, and no one was able to learn this song except the fourteen and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth.
4. These are those who are undefiled with women and are pure, they follow the Lamb wherever it leads, being redeemed from among men, with the firstfruits, they belong to God and the Lamb.
5. In their mouth there was no lie and they were blameless.
sermon
2011 is coming to an end. Will this world ever end? We are living in the last days of the world, is there really a heaven? Believers in Jesus will suffer great suffering at the end of the world, is that true? Where does Jesus come from, and how can we meet them?
1. The appearance of the Lamb on Mount Zion: John shows the appearance of the kingdom of heaven as seen in vision. It is the image of the end of this world and the completion of the eternal kingdom of God. There, all the saints will sing a song of victory to Jesus Christ, who died on the cross as a Lamb.
2. A hymn sung by 144,000 people: 144,000 is a number multiplied by the twelve tribes of the Old Testament and the twelve apostles of the New Testament and multiplied by one thousand, the perfect number, and symbolizes all the saints in the Old and New Testaments. Those who believe in Jesus Christ will enter the eternal kingdom and sing songs that no one else can learn.
3. Those who belong to God and the Lamb: Those who enter the eternal kingdom of heaven are not those who have built up their own righteousness, but those who belong to God and the Lamb. They are the ones who do not defile themselves with idolatry, but follow the Lamb's guidance wherever they go in pure faith.
Those who belong to God are those who wait until they glorify Him by singing the song of victory before the Lamb on Mount Zion in heaven. Just as the ten virgins waited for the bridegroom, but only the five virgins who prepared oil entered the feast, we can win together with the Lord when we prepare faith and wait patiently.
